I have read this book several times and each time get more out of it! I understand the concerns brought up about the book and fully comprehend the questionings. However, in light of GOD being GOD, I found nothing in this
book contrary to the scriptures. I believe that the message "we will all see him" is absolutely the truth.
EVERY knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord! We will all stand before the judge of all the earth one day...either to receive rewards or to be told "depart from Me, I never knew you."
I feel this book is just an honest account of what really happened to Anne. Yes, along the lines of "the Shack",
which was not a book about theology, but relationship with God. This book, I believe, is just a simple, child-like account of what the Lord did in the life of one of his beloved children. I found it to be very encouraging especially regarding how Jesus sees the churches. Reminds me of the book of Revelation--but neither adds to NOR takes away from the Word of God. This is not a BIBLE, it is a real-life story of one woman's testimony!
I think we have become such "logical" thinkers, that we forget that GOD is GOD and can do whatever He wants in the lives of those He loves. The boxes we have put Him make Him way "TOO SMALL". He is doing a LOT more throughout the world that many "logical" thinkers would reject. He is not bound by the "letter of the WORD", for the "letter" kills, but the Spirit gives LIFE. We have got to stop "straining on gnats" and comprehend the BIGGER picture! God is Great, can do whatever He wants, needs no stamp of approval from man and is continually trying to communicate to His beloved!

While the other respondent presents quite a lengthy--and, I thought, thorough and highly logical--discussion of Mrs. Elmer's book, and while I would agree with his admonition to use caution when reading things like this, I personally believe that this book is one that can BLESS many followers of Christ and even "seekers" of the Truth (Christ).

I found this book to be highly interesting and engaging, and, as a woman who has been involved in the ministry in one way or another since birth, I can appreciate so much of the "message" of this book. I think, as a short response to the other respondent's discussion, that I will say this: I never got the idea that she wanted this book to become part of the Holy Bible. I never, for one instance, thought she was rewriting scripture. For me, she made it fairly clear that she was just writing a book about her experience because so many people had asked for one...And, even then, she only wrote the book when she felt it was time to.

If you can get past a legalistic mindset (which will lead you to a debate much like the other respondent's) when approaching this book, and just allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you and challenge you on whatever truths may apply to your own spiritual walk, I think you will absolutely love this book.

For me, it reminded me a bit of "The Shack" and of the Aslan references in "The Chronicles of Narnia." If you do not like those books, you probably will not like this one. But if you love those books, as I do, then this book will probably GREATLY appeal to you.

Happy Reading! :)

Anne Elmer's booklet, TRANSPORTED BY THE LION OF JUDAH was a blessing! It is her testimony about what happened to her while she was in the hospital. Who can argue with someone's story? I look at DNA differently now and imagine possibilities that I wouldn't have imagined before! I wish I could give this book to everyone! The Lord appears to us in many forms and this is just one of them. It's an exciting booklet about what God is doing in the world today.

I found Anne's book to be very interesting and thought-provoking regarding many of our "prejudices" concerning other worshippers of God. I feel that she went to great lengths to avoid the kind of criticisms and nitpicking that she has received. I have found, unfortunately, that there are always such critics waiting to attack anybody who would do anything positive. I would imagine that any hallucinations a person might have while under the influence of strong painkillers or other drugs would relate in some way to where they were spiritually, prior to their exposure to the drug. Jesus said, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me." I feel that He was lifted up in this book and it gave me nothing but a desire to draw even closer.

I had heard of the author's "journey", her vision of the church in these days and was thrilled by the love and power of Jesus Christ for his church. A brief testimony of what this woman experienced and how it changed her life.

Only 90 pages, but this little book will make a lasting impression. Every church leader should read and use the information in it. Perhaps church goers can give their pastor a copy. When you have read Transported by the Lion of Judah, you'll never forget you did.
