Each chapter/month has a geographic novelty and with that comes a lyrical novelty. The stories are interesting and honest, quite down to earth and projecting the feeling of "I could see that happening to me". In that sense if you don't get the chance to travel a lot yourself the book should be a pretty enjoyable read.
I enjoyed the book throughout but I have to really give it to Daniel for such a nice ending. I will not spoil it here; instead I'll just say that I have a thing for endings and want them to be grand, with impact and closure and the book really delivered.

A journey of 12 months in 12 countries, told in 12 chapters, all containing the same humour and humanity in them. Probably one of the most honest travel books out there. Loved it!Published 23 months ago by Gabrielle Madé

This book is very honest about the not-so-glamorous side of traveling but is very rich in experience. Very witty style of writing too, had me laughing out loud every now and then.Published on March 27, 2014 by Katherine Cadelina
