What caused me to choose this bag for EDC is a) you can fit a larger water bottle
CamelBak Chute Vacuum Insulated Stainless Water Bottle, 20 oz
in the side pocket, b) There's no flap, which makes it easier to get to your items. The downside is there isn't a lot of organization inside - a couple full width pockets is about it.
I also think the lack of a flap allows for a more masculine look without going too big with a messenger bag, or all-out 'tactical'. I've also "manly-fied" it by gluing on some hook material to the front for mounting patches, and attaching a flashlight pouch to the strap. I also added a couple extra dollops of
+Barge Cement, 2 oz (Haz LVL 3)
glue on those wide pockets to divide them. This helps keep my tube of sunscreen, multitool and protein bars upright and easy to reach. Definitely 5 stars after the mods.

* Standard size bag that will NEVER accommodate a laptop to 15.6. My attached picture is a 13" (or 15" diagonal) laptop that fits width wise, but the bag is way too short. It has a pocket inside that will accommodate my mini-iPad, but it's not fleece lined.
* It does have RFID blocking, passport pocket, and LED fob.
* Vinyl back and vinyl strap, nothing air mesh about it...unless that's sewn inside and I can't see it.
* It does have a side pocket, which appears to accommodate my 18" Yeti Bottle, umbrella or sunglasses. It does have a front pocket. It does not have an add-a-bag strap, it does not have a grab handle. It has one adjustable shoulder strap. Period.
* It's no where close to the size they have published in their dimensions. It is approx 11.75 " x 9.5" x 3.5". You can see the picture of the length attached.
I've never purchased anything that was so far from the advertised description and as a result, super disappointed. I have other Travelon bags and I really like them. I was looking forward to what I thought I would receive and actually, was slightly concerned it would be too big, but thought if I could fit my laptop, that would be large enough with the other features. Turns out it's no where close and won't serve the purpose for which it was purchased. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep this or return it. If I didn't like my other Travelon bags, I would definitely return. It's only that history that has me considering it. BUT - I definitely do not recommend this bag if you are expecting what the description says.

I got my daughter one, too. It replaced everything I would normally carry in my purse and I felt very safe wearing it. It held our passports and it was always very easy to find it in a hurry. Lots of useful pockets inside. We went on a 10 day trip to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. This was the best purchase I made by far preparing for this trip.
