Better than expected

I like this purse a lot more than I expected to: I bought it for an upcoming trip to France, and wanted something I wouldn't feel I had to constantly guard while listening to tour guides. I decided I'd better road-test it ahead of time, so I started using it as soon as I got it.

It's bigger than the purse I normally wear, but it doesn't feel bigger, and it's not heavy at all. In fact, the way it forms itself to my body makes it less cumbersome than my other purses. The contrasting-color lining makes it easy to find things, and the included flashlight makes it even easier. There are so many compartments I actually haven't filled them all yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something! There's also a front-and-center slot for water bottle or folding umbrella that I didn't even know was there until I accidentally slid my thumb into it. Since I usually don't carry either bottle or umbrella, I found it handy for slipping my sunglasses into. I love the way the principal zipper tabs on the purse latch onto metal loops to keep them closed. They seem to have thought of everything.

My only complaint is the color choices. I'm going to France in the summer, and the purses all seem to be winter colors. A cream or light butterscotch would have been perfect to coordinate with the clothes I'm bringing. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with this purse. I might even use it when I'm not traveling!

This bag was a must for my trip to Europe. I was able to carry a 16oz water bottle and unmbrella with no problem. I loved the fact that it has so many pockets — made carrying other essentials (like wipes, tissue, lip stick, etc) extremely easy to organize.

The only problem I had with this bag, which would explain the 3 star rating, is that some of the seams were pulling apart inside some of the pockets. I used this bag every day for almost 2 weeks but expected it to be more durable. It’s not. The seams should not be coming apart. Shows shoddy work.

Really wanted this bag and really wanted to like it, but I am returning. it is nice that it has all the safety issues covered but the bag is shapeless and turns out to be rather small. what fit in my prior smaller purse that was more structured and able to stand on its own, this one bulges in all the wrong places, becomes misshapen and still doesn't fit. I was also pleased with that many different pockets, but again was disappointed. Since there is no structure to the bag and it is small, anything you put in one pocket, takes space from another pocket and that one becomes useless. Also, it must have been made for taller people, as the handle can't be made any smaller than the way it comes and it is too long (falls well below hip). all in all, a big disappointment. 2 stars for safety.

I love this travel RFID purse. It has so many pockets of all sizes that I can categorize my belongings perfectly. The material is light weight and so does not hurt my shoulder on long sightseeing adventures. It has little RFID slots where you can put your ID and credit cards. It’s soft and hugs your side when you carry it. I have bought2 of these. For my first one, I spilled a whole cup of coffee in the main compartment. I washed it the washing machine at the hotel, and it came out fine. I bought another one when I got home because I didn’t know if the RFID properties were compromised after washing. Now, I use the washed one at home and the newer one one trips 😀 this purse carries a lot too.

I just received my Anti-Theft Classic Slouch Hobo Travelon purse yesterday. Having owned one of this brand in the past, I knew they were good quality and safer for travel. My other one was smaller and messenger style. I like this purse a lot better...it's slim and body hugging under my arm while crossbody, but can also expand and hold quite a few items. It has outside and inside slots that both fit my Samsung Galaxy 7 phone with Otterbox case, plus enough room inside for my Kindle, wallet and other items. There is an inside zippered pocket and three large outside zippered pockets (one with a lock). The main compartment zipper also locks. Although roomy, the purse doesn't feel huge or bulky. Be aware that the purse won't stand up on its own, as that would require a wider/firmer base. I used the purse today and a woman who saw it complimented the appearance and asked where I got it. She's planning to do some traveling soon, and said she's going to order a Travelon purse. I would definitely recommend this item for everyday use and traveling.

It has a light gray lining that makes it easy to find things inside, and it has several nice pockets inside and out. It had one feature that I don't recall seeing as a feature, but has been SO convenient is a central outside the zipper cellphone pouch that keeps my phone handy but secure. Some of the interior pockets have RFID lining, but I use an RFID wallet as well.

I live in an environment where purse snatching and slashing are common. I have previously used and loved the PacSafe City Safe bag but did not like the new GII version (slightly smaller feel, absence of one of the inside zipper pockets). So when my second PacSafe wore out, I decided to try this bag even though it is a bit larger than I prefer. So far I am loving it. Having 4 zipper compartments plus the storage in the main compartment makes it very functional. Though it's bigger than my previous one, it is considerably lighter. The cell phone pocket is great for me, too, but the opening wouldn't work for a phone much larger than my Samsung Galaxy. One thing I wish were different: The main compartment is the only one that can be secured against pickpockets. I wish the other two "front" pockets could also be clipped shut. Also I'm concerned about the durability of the fabric. Time will tell!

I like all of the pockets in this bag. I do have some complaint. The quality of construction is atrocious. There's a little pocket in the front that fits a cellphone perfectly, the quality of the fabric lining along with the stitching is extremely poor, the lining only lasted 3 weeks before it started tearing apart which actually allowed me to see the interior of the purse. It revealed that the seams are poorly constructed and the fabric is fraying.away. I also find the credit card slots on the inside of the main part of the bag completely useless and I don't use them at all. Pockets for passport, pens, glasses/sunglasses would have been a better idea. I have a wallet for all of my credit/debit cards and cash. This could be an outstanding bag if the quality of all of the fabrics used were much, much better along with construction techniques to ensure fabric doesn't fray at the seems.
