This is my Second attempt at a Travelon bag, my first one was too tall and narrow for my body type. I posted some pictures and a video review as well. I am a very short bodied person 5'3", so I can't use a "tall" purse without looking "stumpy" or having the purse be from my hip to my armpit. This bag hugs to my hip well. It is a little bit bulky fully packed but I do have it crammed FULL of stuff. It fit : 2 Tour Books, large and small, language guide, hard glasses case, hard camera case, full sized wallet with checkbook, diabetic testing kit, and power bank/charger for electronics. Plus a small amount of makeup and a pen. It has 2 end pockets that will fit both 16 oz and 23 oz water bottles. I did have a small issue with one of the zipper pulls coming off, a simple "crimp" down of the zipper holder and it was fine.

Got this for a two week trip to India to replace older, bulkier camera bags. I wanted something that was big enough for my DSLR and lenses, but also more purse like and with the anti-theft functions. I loved using it; the one caveat is that the waterbottle pockets are a little small for a standard water bottle, but I just ended up putting tissues in them for bathroom use. There are a lot of things I like about the organization of this bag. I also enjoy that it is a bit on the smaller side with expandable pouches on either end that I can put my water bottle or sunglasses into. It is even relatively comfortable to carry. HOWEVER, I got this bag around Thanksgiving and now it is February and, even without daily use, THE INSIDE LINER HAS COMPLETELY DETACHED ON ONE SIDE! - This is particularly unacceptable for a bag that is supposed to be sturdy, but really even less than I would expect from a regular purse/bag of decent quality. Only 2-3 months before it falls apart?? Ridiculous.

Just returned from 3 weeks in Europe using this bag. Perfect size for carrying all the necessary items for traveling. Kept a small water bottle in one end pocket and a travel umbrella in the other. Locked the bag when riding the crowded metro and the announcements about pickpockets in the area was announced. Water resistant, but if you anticipate it getting wet, you might want to apply a water repellent especially on the seams. Easy to clean with a damp towel.

After doing a large amount of research on the perfect travel purse to take to Europe I decided to get this purse. The quality of this bag is just terrible. I will never purchase anything from Travelon again. Within the first week the side pockets were torn up from the zippers. While I was in Europe the inside of the bag ripped open. I didn't put anywhere near what they say you can put in this bag because I didn't want to carry around anything too heavy. I am very disappointed that this bag was essentially one use only. My advice spend more money on a brand that has better quality.

I purchased this for our up and coming cruise. We have 2 small kids and I wanted something big enough for a package of wipes and a few diapers, my wallet and some essentials, but small enough to not feel like I was carrying a diaper bag. This bag is PERFECT!!! It has pockets all over and I love the locking zippers so no crazy's can get in my bag while I'm distracted. I can't wait to use it!! It's super cute too.

I purchased this bag for city break trips. I wanted the security features such as re enforced base and shoulder strap plus several internal compartments. The convenience of a pouch for both folded umbrella and water bottle influenced my choice. This bag seemed to be ideal.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 13, 2018
However, on the 3rd days of use, the upper dark blue silk lining began to come away from the interior wall in 3 small places along the seam. Within several more openings of the bag, the entire wall had become detached. This resulted in a large “pouch” to form between the exterior wall and the main compartment. Also, loose silk threads became tangled in the zip. Fiddling with this to find things took time and in itself, became a security risk, the thing I wanted to avoid.
This may have been a manufacturing fault but has rendered the bag no longer fit for purpose.
