"Written extremely well"
--San Francisco Book Review
"A real page turner"
"Nathan has a great talent for telling a story in such a way that it makes you feel like you are with Hafa and Nathan as it happens."
"The writing is rich with implications about finding joy outdoors"
"Travels with Hafa is reminiscent of Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck, an exploration of the heart of America, although several decades later. Nathan Pettijohn's travelogue goes beyond a simple trip through the western states and touches the heart of the American, not just America."
--Book Review Directory
"Nathan Pettijohn's TRAVELS WITH HAFA reveals the not-so-pretty realities of an extended RV trip, while never losing a sense of wonder and appreciation for the journey."
"This is a thoroughly enjoyable book, very well written and extremely readable. Highly recommended."

With the current take on the west I hope we're able to see more volumes that would be able to explore the rest of the country possibly? It would be nice to read how it's like as a modern day take on traveling in America. Maybe after C-19? or even a during and a post?
Overall the book is a splendid read, and if there's a second trip SIGN ME UP!!!
P.S. If anyone else has suggestions when traveling the PNW also please comment. It's on my bucket list to travel on PCH 1 with friends and meet great people along the way. Thank you very much!
