I have read several series by Ms. Branton. This series was scary, imaginative, and addictive. Travels follows the 'team's' latest adventure and is most satisfying. If you have not read the series, do yourself a favor and start from the beginning. If you have read the others in this series, I am sure that like me, you will find it hard to put down.

I have to admit as much as I enjoyed this series, I am still a huge fan of the Imprints and of course, my all time favorite by her - the Unbounded series. If you have not checked those out yet - I highly reccommend both series.

I finished the 3 book series as fast as possible. I could hardly wait to find out how it ended. It is thought-provoking and makes me worry about our own government. I hope if I was in the same situation that I could be a hero too.

An absorbing world of resistance and adventure.

The story is based upon a very interesting and plausible premise considering the nature of the real world that we live in (if one is really paying attention) and what could result in the future. Some say that much of science fiction is based on facts that have yet to be revealed to us. The idea that people are being used and exploited by an “elite” is very evident today but what can be done to change that?

This book tells us how a diverse group of survivors – whose who have been experimented on and can either be useful or a threat to those in control, others simply colonized as workers and still others living underground or on the edge of unsafe radiation zones – meet the challenges of existence years after global destruction while desiring to rid themselves of total enslavement. Their situation is unique (as stories go) but the persistence of the human spirit to be free and to live harmoniously is the common thread that all readers can relate to.

I found my reading experience to be entertaining but a bit difficult due to the formatting - more spacing would make it easier on my eyes and entice me to keep reading. Travels is well-written, however, there are an abundance of characters to keep track of so I needed to take it slow. These are my reasons for one less star. The book concludes without a cliff-hanger. Did they accomplish their goal? Read it and find out.

I loved this book. Teyla gave enough information to allow those who hadn't read all of the previous books the opportunity to enjoy this book and know what was going on without rehashing so much that those who had read all the books were bored. You developed even more of the characters and helped the reader build a relationship with them so they cared what they were doing on what happened to them. The love and connection between the main Sixers was so special. I found it interesting how the relationships between the characters was so natural even with those who started out on opposite sides. I appreciated how the underground team acted towards even with those that were against them. In many cases they were more humane than they themselves were treated. Another great story. Keep up the great work.

This is a fantastic conclusion to the Colony Six trilogy, where well-developed characters battle a ferocious enemy whose only policy is profit.

Fast-paced, brilliant characters, an original feel, good v evil and a whole lot more, make this a compelling read.

Loved it.
