Ugly but gigantic. Wish it had a couple more pockets so I could separate snacks from goggles.

I wanted to keep water cold, so it wasn't the greatest insulation for that because the bottles were sideways.

The velcro closure at the top got caught on towels.

The mesh is handy in terms airing, but it doesn't really release sand because the bottom is solid.

The inside of the little pocket is mesh, so contents are potentially visible.

The straps are simply webbing--fine for the price but not super comfortable for carrying when fully loaded, especially with heavy towels and drinks.

My husband thought it was a great purchase; I wish I had skipped it.

I bought this as a deal of the day. I didn't really need another beach bag, but I liked the idea of a cooler in the bottom. Used it yesterday in the evening, through two big bottles of water in it and two large beers. Kept them pretty cool for a while, I was impressed. The top held everything I needed for a swim and some snacks as well. Worth the money, would make a good gift.

* I wouldn't put sandwiches or anything in the cooler they would get smashed.

In the cooler you can fit a variety of drink sizes (cans fit perfectly upright) and foods, while you put your towel, sunscreen, snacks, etc. in the top portion. There is also a little zippered pouch attached the the top that is perfect for storying keys, jewelry, money, and anything else you don't want floating around.

The cooler is very nice. I used the frozen ice pack to keep my drinks cold rather than ice which worked out perfectly. The bag does not stand up as in the picture but I am very pleased with the bag.
