I use this to loose up stuck or rigid joints on action figures. Works wonders, but just don't overdo it because it's going to look all slick and oily if it spills over. It can be wiped up, but you never know how it might affect paint. My technique is to break down the figure as far as I can to separate the joint from the body parts, then do the tiniest little dab imaginable in the joint gaps. Then I let it seep in for a minute or two and start to work the stuck joint. So far I've had 100% success on dozens of joints. Just be mindful that any excess will "sweat" out and will probably require another wipe down of seepage after an hour or so.

I use this for lubricating plastic joints and it works well for that; a little goes a long way. I'm removing one star for the applicator though; I can't screw the lid on when the pour spout is in which makes me nervous. The tip should also be thinner for more precise application and mine had no hole at the top when I got it.

I blew two of my shock caps off and had to replace them so I needed oil to refill the shocks with. I ordered this with my caps and it seems to be working just fine in the stock shocks as they did before I blew the caps off.

Good quality silicone shock oil.
The bottle top is a bit tough to get assembled but works well once put together. Just add a little oil and use pilers to press the filler into the bottle.

Working good, love the bottle. Easy to use. Just remove cap, remove seal and rubber. Shove opposite end of nozzle down in the top and put the cap back on. That easy. Was using 3in1 silicon till this arrived, bad idea btw. Swelled up top rubber cap. Cleaned it out and added this back to them, working great now but had to leave slightly less oil in these because of the swelled caps to get them to be even with dampening of the front that I didn't use the 3in1 in.

Bottle causes headaches.
Reviewed in Canada on December 30, 2016Verified Purchase
Haven't tried the oil itself yet because I've been spending the last 20 minutes fighting with the applicator bottle trying not to spill oil everywhere. The applicator tip is a very very tight fit and it seems like I'll break the bottle to insert it in the neck of the bottle as pictured on the product page.
