is a definite must read! Treading Water creates an emotional firestorm within the reader. It shines the lighton the good and the bad in life and proves that one moment can changeeverything and it's never too late to find love. Marie Force grabbed myheart and squeezed every ounce of emotion out of it but most importantly her monumental story left me blissful. Treading Water may be fictionbut it gives me hope; hope in everyday people and happily ever after." -Joyfully Reviewed, a "Recommended Read"
TREADING WATER, "shines the light on the good and the bad in life and proves that one moment can change everything and it's never too late to find love."--A recommended read from Joyfully Reviewed
"(Treading Water) isn't your typical romance where you're positive you're going to get the happy ending you were hoping for at the beginning. It will rip your heart out at times and having you weeping for joy at others. A stunning story about learning to love again and learning when to let go to those you love." --Night Owl Reviews, Reviewer Top Pick
From the Author
A mother isn't supposed to have favorites among her children, right? Neither should an author, but I bet we all have one. This is mine--my first book, the ultimate book of my heart and the first character to live inside my mind as a real, live person. It is also the only book of mine that my late mother was able to read, albeit a much earlier and rougher version. This book has taken me on a nearly eight-year journey from inception to publication. I'm delighted to now bring Treading Water, and its three sequels--Marking Time, Starting Over and Coming Home--to my readers.
A special thank you to the many friends who read this book, loved this book, believed in this book--and asked for the story that became Marking Time, which then led to Starting Over and Coming Home. Thank you also to my agent, Kevan Lyon, and her partner, Jill Marsal, who helped to make it a much better book. Read more about "The House That Jack Built" on my website.
As always, I love to hear from readers, so please let me know what you think of Jack's story. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
