Hard to find, but excellent Complete First of Odyssey Exploration in Action. Discovery Channel just does NOT get their products out! So if you love the Guy's and Girls on the Odyssey, buy this when you can. I have a ex-library DVD and proud of it, plays great!

What could be more thrilling than seeing the sometimes ripped-to-shreds hulls of ghostlike submarines? Episode #6 of Odyssey’s voyages to shipwrecks shows them on the quest to correctly identify a number of German U-boats. Like some other voyages to shipwrecks, this voyage is a grim flashback to the men who died serving their country. This voyage is helped by Dr. Axel Niestle, who is a German expert in the field of submarines. These episodes are always amazing to watch! (written by A.W., age 11)

I always find it fascinating hearing experts identifying objects that to my eye look like nothing. In this series, the fact that the objects being explored are under the sea added interest. And there were some very exciting discoveries made during this season. Also watching the various crew members handling the remote diving submersible and jerry rigging repairs or solutions was very interesting.

I wish it were longer than 11 episodes. I'd like to see them pull up a big treasure. Treasure hunting was a hobby of mine when I was in my early 30s. Never found any of the lost GOLD in Arizona, or New Mexico though. Dry panned 1/4 ounce of gold, prospecting for a whole day in the hot sun. Worth about $9.00 back in the 70s.

Since I gave up DirecTV, I've watching a documentaries every night on Amazon prime. This particular series was pretty good compared to a lot of other stuff out there. Especially interesting was the interaction among the crew and the scientists looking for shipwrecks, sunken subs and treasure. Quite entertaining, too.

Who doesn't like a global treasure quest? This is a fascinating trek around the globe using the most sophisticated underwater technology to search the ocean combined with deep archival research to make an educated guess as to find the proverbial needle in a hay stack. Scuba divers and any sea lover will enjoy the tale.

Great series for anyone who likes wrecks and wreck diving and naval history. I wish they had continued making the show after the first season. The underwater footage is excellent, and they tell the background on what the guys are looking for and finding. Plus great crew interaction so you really get the feel that "you are there". Highly recommended.

I wasn't expecting much from this show, but it's entertaining and fascinating. I do find that they linger at times on unnecessary topics/people, trying to fill the hour long show with content. But, other than that, it's a great show.
