By P. Mulloy on October 23, 2015
Format: Paperback
Back in the 70's most of the available home brewing information came from England and we all brewed ales. Generally when we tried lagers the results were not pretty. Then along came Fred. I found this in the Whole Earth Catalog. This pamphlet - my 6th edition is 53 pages long - guided the first generation of the current home brewing boom on how to brew lager beers. It is short but it included everything we needed to know to make good lager beers. Today there today are better books out there on how to brew lager beer, but there was only one Fred Eckhart. Buy this for nostalgia or to complete your library.
