In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter—and later, his wife, Edna—sought to create fine books that sold at prices even a pauper could afford.

I want to start by saying I am not unhappy with this book. It is a little small for MY intended purposes... but that is not the seller's fault, its mine. I didn't read the dimensions. They are a little buried in the item description, so if size matters to you, you should know it is only 5"×7". Of course I will still use it, but it just won't last as long as a typically sized journal. I have included photos comparing size to one of my typical notebooks for visual comparison.
