We originally bought this swing over 4 months ago! We loved it! We use it daily & have never once gone anywhere close to the weight limit.
We were having a neighborhood party & it suddenly broke while a little girl was on it! It has a supposed 500 pound capacity, this girl only weighed roughly 70 pounds.
My husband ran over & discovered a nut had stripped off a bolt & failed. These are the materials that came with the swing. We had to upgrade the attachment hardware.

We bought this and hung it on our kids existing custom built swing set. Assembly was quick. My husband did it in about 15 minutes. It seems sturdy. I sat on it with our kids. The ropes are teflon/plastic feeling (kind of like thick fishing line braided together). My complaint is that the edges of this swing already look worn and dingy. And one if the ropes already look like they are trying to separate in one area. We haven't even had it hanging up a month yet, and have gotten maybe 15 times of use on it. It is in a well shaded area, as can be seen in the above pictures.

UPDATE:: Trekassy has by far the best customer service around. I'd go as far as to say the best customer service on anything that I've ordered as an Amazon prime member for the past u years. I had a complaint in my original review, and they responded to me via email within 2 days and wanted to correct it. They sent a whole new replacement, no questions asked. And I received the replacement very fast. I definitely recommend this brand/seller. There is no damage to the ropes and blue pad over the edge. This thing holds my husband (250 lbs), my 135 lbs son up, & our 25 lb daughter all at the same time. We look forward to the the use and life of our new swing. Less than a month up on the tree branch and the straps completely shredded in the middle of swinging injuring my kiddo. I would not recommend purchasing this item unless you’re going to replace the strap with something sturdier. Followed the directions perfectly and it just fell apart. We’ve owned lots of swings over the years and never has any of them fallen apart at this speed. Extremely disappointed as this isn’t a cheap item and I expected much better.

Sie ist stabil verarbeitet, die Montage ist in 15 Minuten erledigt und hält tatsächlich einiges aus.
Die Schaukel lässt sich entweder mittels der mitgelieferten Karabiner an vorhandenen Ösen aufhängen
oder mit den mitgelieferten Befestigungsriemen um einen Querträger wickeln.
Man kann gemütlich hin- und her schaukeln oder auch so richtig Gas geben ohne Angst haben zu müssen,
gleich aus der Schaukel zu fallen.

Ich muss meinen vormals positiven Eindruck dieser Schaukel leider komplett revidieren:
Nach nur 3 Monaten ist die Schaukel kaputt, weil sie nicht UV-beständig ist.
Sie ist ganz einfach gerissen - unbrauchbar!

Hier ist schon in der Überschrift ein Produktversprechen von einer starken Belastbarkeit gegeben was nicht gehalten wird!
Meine Tochter (16 Jahre) schaukelt annähernd Täglich auf der Nestschaukel. Also auch bei Regen, Schnee und Sonnenschein (Ist halt ihre Art den "Alltagsstress" abzubauen den die jungen Leute zwischen Schule, Sportverein und Familie haben), daher haben wir in den letzten Jahren schon so einige Schaukeln "verschlissen".
Dieses mal sollte sie länger halten und daher haben wir uns für ein Modell mit mehr Belastbarkeit und halt auch höherem Preis entschieden. Und nun das......
Nach nur einem halben Jahr fangen die Rohre an, an den Verbindungsstellen abzuknicken und die Wetterbeständigkeit ist auch nicht gegeben.
Ich hoffe man kann das auf dem Foto erkennen.
Auf jeden Fall würde ich persönlich niemanden zu dieser Nestschaukel raten und ich werde mich auch wieder auf die Suche nach einem haltbaren Modell begeben bevor ein Unfall passiert.
