You're out for a run, tearing up the trail, loving the outdoors, when you come across a stream. No problem - your footwear has just the right Evolution to tackle the obstacle. Treksta slipped a Gore-Tex layer into the mix for breathability and waterproofing so you're sure to stay dry-footed in this rugged speedster. Mesh panels offer extra comfort while the trail treaded outsole delivers the sure-footed stride nature demands.
Treksta shoes grew out of the frustration of having to buy a different shoe for each season. They logged countless hours hiking and running in various terrains containing hard pack, roots, loose dirt, mud, ice and snow to develop their all-season, all-terrain shoes. They began with world-class materials and construction. Then they added the ultra-efficient BOA lacing system, and placed it atop multi-surface tread patterns imbedded with patent-pending Icegrip technology. Treksta, the first-ever all-season trail shoe was born.

I wanted something that would be as comfortable to wear all day walking around town, as it would be for day hikes & trail running.
I originally bought a pair of the Salomon Men's XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX Trail shoes. Nice shoe, and I love the kevlar lacing system.
The Salomon's ended up being too tight and narrow, plus the arch is too high and was causing me pain.
I knew they wouldn't work for me. I needed something I could live in day and night for the next year.
Back to the drawing board.
I read a review on Backpacker.com I had never heard of TrekSta before. After doing my research, I decided to give them a shot, and couldn't be happier.
Straight out of the box these shoes were incredibly comfortable. I've been wearing them straight for the last few weeks. Absolutely no break-in time required. I've worn them for all day walking, trail running, and even jogging over slick cobble stones. Great grip and comfort.
Most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn.
My father who recently had a full knee replacement surgery, is planning on buying a pair for himself, after having tried mine on. (He won't be doing any trail running, but it was the comfort, support and fit that sold him)
Quality is awesome, solid build and since we just got snow, I could test out the special ice grippers on the bottom. They work. I will be buying more, guaranteed.
