Trespassers (Ferryman Trilogy) Hardcover – October 11, 2022
Purchase options and add-ons
Tristan and Dylan have escaped the afterlife, defying fate: Dylan should have been killed in a horrific train crash, while Tristan should still be an immortal ferryman. Now, living in bodies they have no right to inhabit, they discover they’re connected by something stronger than love—their souls are bound together. Alone, they’ll die, but being together has its own difficulties. As they try to adjust to life in the real world, with Dylan slowly healing from her injuries and Tristan attending school for the first time, they realize that when they broke through the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead, they showed the way for others to escape. Now they must face the consequences. Dylan and Tristan’s beautifully told and richly imagined story—in development to be a major motion picture—continues in this sequel full of suspense, action, and intense emotion.

They wanted to be together and now they are bound together, forever. It’s often said that one should make their own path and not everyone can walk the same walk. Susanna didn’t seem to have gotten the memo and tries to piggyback on not so friendly a soul dreaming to start a life in the real world with none other than Tristan.
A love triangle, a big mistake. One sided love, fighting demons, and paying the price for the mistakes, the second book in the series of Ferryman has got it all.
A decent second book in the series of three, Trespassers will hold the reader's attention enough to get them to the third one but not without annoying them a little bit.
Dylan and Tristan are a tad too jealous. There are times when Dylan acts like a brat. Dylan’s mom is a really annoying personality. One wishes Jack dead over and over and Susanna got what she deserved.
Overall, the writer overdid it with the insecurities, self-doubt, selfishness and mean attitudes. A little positive behavior from at least half of the characters would have been appreciated and balanced out the book. Now, I was just annoyed with all the characters.
But the end was good enough and the writer was not scared of passing harsh judgment on Susanna and Jack. I just hope Susanna has to pay the higher price than Jack, after all it is her fault... she misled him.
I got both the ferryman and the Trespassers together and was a little surprised to find out about the third one in the series; Outcasts. Trespassers can be deemed concluded in its own rights but I am curious as to what possible adventure can the writer come up with now? According to me, all that could happen has happened. So, to satiate the curiosity I will be reading the third one in the series too. Let’s hope its better than Trespassers and not all jealousy, silly mistakes, and back-stabbing.
