I liked the styling and saw similar chandeliers at Lowes and Home Depot but were a little more ornate and a lot more expensive. So I couldn't be happier.
The arms move so spread them out into a star pattern, don't worry about getting them perfect and don't lock them in place yet. (Underneath there are bolts that you tighten to prevent the arms from moving) Once you have the chandelier hung and the bulbs and glass attached you will probably need to level it out. The glass puts a lot of weight on the arms so naturally just move the arms about to disperse the weight evenly. I didn't even bother tightening the bottom bolts.
The only reason this chandelier gets 4 stars is because the glass doesn't seem to sit "Level" in the cups. I had to spin them around until I found a position that was somewhat satisfying and then tightened the locking ring attached to the bulb base.
Overall once I had it all set up I was happy with the final result. I also went with 60W Bulbs which provide quite a bit of light for the dining area.
With five 40 WATT bulbs it serves our purpose perfectly: which is in our entryway. It throws lots of light but the color of the globes softens it and makes it feel very "warm" and inviting, not glaring or overlit. It is solidly constructed and has plenty of chain for cathedral type ceiling.
The instructions were complete and easy for my husband to follow - I admit that I looked them over and would have had a little trouble having NO electrical experience whatsoever... but I believe with a little study time, I"d have been able to do this installation myself.
One minor complaint is that the cups that the globes nestle into are a little bit warped causing some of the globes to sit a little crooked. As our fixture is Way Up There in the entry, it's not obvious enough to be a real problem, but does mean I can't quite give it a five star rating.
