Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
It really didn't start getting interesting until chapter 6. I was looking for a book that would tell me what gears I need to be in when riding in certain climates, roads, etc. I wanted a book that was going to teach me more about the gears and when to ride in those gears; this book did not do that. It is a good book if you are new to triathlons; talks about heart rate and zones, thresholds etc

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I bought this book last fall in anticipation of completing a 70.3 in August. Having finished that race with an incredible(for me) bike split, I can highly recommend this book. I followed the half ironman biking plan almost to the letter and it was perfect. As a long time cyclist, the information was helpful and logical. I liked that different forms of tri were represented. If you need to focus on the bike, this is an awesome book.
