Great low impact workout, built well, folds up for transporting, fun and different
This is minor but on the T78 the folding mechanism can be a bit difficult to engage
I am glad that my wife and I both got Trikkes at nearly the same time. I am sure that the health benefits will become more evident as we spend more time riding. Right now we are scouting the best locations to ride in our town. Love it.
I often have my 6-year old daughter standing on the scooter in front of me. Probably not something that is recommended, but with proper safety equipment and slow speed this has become something we enjoy doing together.
I watched the video about how to ride and it took me about 30 minutes of trying before I got to a point where I could get a steady forward motion without using my leg to kick. I can now ride with my legs on the scooter and move forward by shift in balance and turning the front wheel side to side - most of the time. For me, a kick or two is still needed up small hills. In many ways the riding motion reminds me of inline skating, but more stable and involving the whole body.
If you want full-body exercise, have access to a hard smooth surface, and want to draw attention - this is a good solution. It will never replace my bike, but is a fun addition.
The quality of the Trikke seems really top-notch. This is not a discount store toy. I am a woman and weigh about 145 pounds. It is plenty sturdy!
