Well, somebody needs to write something for this venerable technology.

I'm typing this review while looking at one of these right now. It's about ten years old. I brought it home from work a number of years ago, and it's making so many noises now when it powers up that I think that it's time is coming to an end.

I've been staring at it for hours researching LCD monitors. I'm glad this old beast lasted long enough to get me through the time of the early LCD monitors so that now I think I can get an LCD that I like as much as this old CRT.

I will miss monitors that run many different resolutions well, and don't have a "native" resolution that looks great while the other resolutins look blurry and weird. I won't, however, miss monitors that weigh 78 lbs.

This 21" Trinitron was the thing to have in it's day, and it was built to last. All good things must come to an end, however. Goodbye old friend.
