About the Author
Kenny X began work on Trisk after watching a very boring NFL game on a cold winter's day. He moved to Princeton in August of 2012 and finished work on his novel there. He attributes his love of writing to the many experiences on which he and his family have embarked, including a tour of Europe and many a destination across the United States. I like Trisk because of the unique concept that you came up with. I like to play and watch sports and Trisk introduces a brand new, exciting sport in a realistic way. One thing I have noticed is that time moves very fast in the book except for the Trisk games. This is good for the people who like the action from the games. I also noticed that there were no chapter titles or a Table of Contents. Those would be very helpful. Overall, I really think adventure fans will like this book a lot. I hope you continue writing.
Curtis Powell is our hero - a young adult brought up in a time not too dissimilar from our own. It is easy to identify with him and root for him as he works his way into the "New Breed of Sport" that he has always dreamed of playing. Curtis tackles obstacles that we all must address in our everyday life. Although the themes are not new, the writing and plot twists make the story one that is exciting and something I highly recommend. Buy Trisk! you will not regret it.
To sum I will quote the immortal words of Thomas Jefferson, "I cannot live without books." (and this is one of them)
