Need to drill multiple holes down the length of a 2x4?..done, then cut off each section with no re-clamping or clearance issues. I've even use it as an out feed table for planers, table saw, etc by installing these Set of 6 TruePower 1" Roller Ball Transfer Bearings on a 2x4 "T" and clamping to the correct height.
A word or two about customer service. My unit arrived with the tail end hard plastic handle broken during shipping. ( no fault of Triton). Rather than contact amazon's customer service which I'm sure would have replaced my unit I e-mailed Triton directly hoping to avoid repacking and reshipping etc etc. Four days later I had a replacement handle in the mail with mounting screws and bushings included... no questions asked, no cost, no shipping cost, nothing. ( the part wasn't in stock in the USA so they removed it from an existing unit and sent it) Perhaps the best customer service I've received from any tool manufacturer ever... 10 out of 10.
* This unit if not pinned down doesn't like side to side pressure such as using a hand plane on a clamped board. It'll start to tip, keep in mind I was putting a fair amount of force into it.
It is very useful to hold wood to work with, I can use it for many of the things I would do on a bench, I believe this clamp with a much smaller bench of the right height would be a much cheaper and space saver option vs. a full sized traditional bench, besides that, this allows me to work on-site without missing my bench's clamp. This is a very good quality tool.
I don't have to worry about making cuts with my circular saw, securing materials, or having an extra set of hands working on a project. I'm happy I have it in my shop.

Took me a little while to fix it, lucky it was in a sealed bag so all the parts were there.Read more
