Product Description

Deep in the Nordic wilderness, a teenage boy named Otto is forced to flee his home after a band of brutal hunters rip through his village in search of a mythical creature rumored to inhabit the forest. Now on the run for his life, Otto inadvertently finds and befriends the elusive creature being sought by the hunters. Thus begins the perilous adventure of Troll and Otto. Together, the unlikely friends embark on a journey through treacherous territory plagued with rivals. Natives to the forest, Troll and Otto must use their inherent skills to sneak, strategize, and battle their way back home. The forest is filled with unknowns, and teamwork is pivotal to staying alive.

Developer Should Be Arrested

Wow where to start. I don't normally take the time to write reviews but this game is so bad I felt the need to warn everyone. I've been playing video games for about 15 years, and this is easily the worst one I've ever played. From the very beginning until the very end is nothing but glitches and clunky, unsatisfying controls. It even crashed my PS4 completely about 5 times throughout my playthrough. I have the latest patch update as of 5/29/17. You can smash enemies repeatedly but the hits simply don't register half of the time, even though you're hitting them directly. You fall through walls and get stuck and you have to awkwardly strafe around items to get just the right angle to trigger the pick-up button. Every single action you take in this game is glitchy, awkward, and unnecessarily frustrating. If the technical issues were completely solved this would be the easiest game in the world, literally the only difficulty here is the terrible mechanics. You're fighting the game instead of the enemies. The delevopers should seriously be ashamed of themselves for releasing this steaming pile of crap. It's almost as if they were trying to create the most pointlessly frustrating game in existence. And they succeeded.

I hate that the game stops playing at the 5 minute mark. It freezes and tells me that the disc is dirty or scratched. It isn't, it's brand new out of the case. Tried again half a dozen times, even cleaned the clean disc.

Too late to return it; I had tested it ONLY for a minute when it arrived a few weeks ago, but didn't get around to playing until now, only to discover it's defective after 5 minutes. My other PS4 games play just fine, just this disc. I'm not happy.
