You, as El President, will first take control of the infamous island of Tropico during early colonial times and then guide it through the centuries as the world changes and moves ever forward. You must tackle the changing needs of your people, as well as opposing governments and factions, and thus lay the foundations for your own dynasty. As you move through your years in office you can promote members of your extended family on the island to positions of power: such as ambassador, commanding general or even Supreme Ruler, to ensure your legacy thrives through the eras. As your influence and wealth grows, so do the threats to your burgeoning island superpower. Can you survive both World Wars, prosper through the Great Depression, rule as an iron-fisted dictator through the Cold War and advance your country to modern times and beyond? From the 19th to the 21st century, each era carries its own challenges and opportunities. Contains the full version of Tropico 5, the expansions Espionage and Waterborne with 10 DLC packs: The Big Cheese, Mad World, Generalissimo, Joint Venture, Surf's Up, Gone Green, Supervillain, Inquisition, Super Computer and T-Day.

"I installed the game with my existing Kalypso account. Everything went fine until the point when I tried to play a MULTIPLAYER game. The menu allows me only 20 characters in the USER field and in the PASSWORD field. The email address (associated with my Kalypso account) is longer than 20 characters. The second copy of the game, is also restricted to only 20 character in multiplayer log in menu."
The games were beautifully packaged in standard DVD movie cases, complete with full-color, beautifully rendered, inserts boasting of the game's multiplayer ability. Inside the package, a lovely, and detailed instruction booklet -- printed on high quality, thick stock, in stylish monochrome -- also provide detailed instructions on how to login to one's Kalypso account in order to play a multiplayer game. The game's software was professionally pressed onto a twelve-centimeter in diameter, absolutely round, polycarbonate disk. Considering the multiplayer problem, I was surprised to see a perfectly engineered 1.5 centimeter hole, right in the center of this disc; making it easy to insert into an optical disk reader. Our GEO wanted to add other insertion options... Ooooh, it is SO time for another timeout! And someone's getting her mouth washed out with soap if she doesn't stop, right now...
EDIT a day later: So, that happened... Turns out confusion reigned supreme with regards to logging into an existing Kalypso account. The in-game form providing the grief, doesn't connect to an existing account but REQUIRES the creation of a NEW ACCOUNT specifically for Tropico 5. Still not adding a star, given what we've gone through with that confusion, and about to go through: considering THERE IS NO WAY TO SAVE A MULTIPLAYER GAME, and I hear tell -- so far -- that they are very, very, very looooooong. Where are my earplugs?
