The Trouble with Nathan was such a perfect ending to the series. Anna J. Stewart really has a hit. But I am sad to have it end; maybe I can dream about a spinoff series? I’d love to read more about my favorite tattoo artist in a Lantano Valley spinoff.
Laurel and Nathan were such wonderful characters and so well suited for each other. I wished I had no other obligations and could have read the book in one sitting. The book had such great flow and surprises that sucked you right into the middle of the excitement. Nathan had to help clear his father and was thrown right into a harrowing adventure which revealed a great deal about his father's past and the death of his mother.
It was nice to get caught up on the lives of the other Tremayne siblings and their families. Lantano Valley is a place I would love to visit and the depth of the writing makes you feel that you are a part of the amazing place.
There will be no spoilers from my, but suffice it to say that this was one of my favorites from Anna J Stewart. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to such an enjoyable series – one I HIGHLY recommend.
I received an advanced review copy from the publisher for an honest review of the book.
Lauren came to town to find the whereabouts of the crown. While trying to find a way to prove Jackson's guilt she ends up working with th Nathan. Getting closer to him is both good and bad. Good because she is able to needed information and bad because it is complicating her job.
Will Nathan and Lauren find a way to work together and make the best of working on opposites or will they clash and make it more difficult for each other?
Who stole the Crown of Serpia? Suspicions are that Jackson Tremayne is the thief. Nathan Tremayne has his hands full trying to prove his father didn’t steal it and to protect his family.
Nathan also has his hands full trying to find out what Laurel Scott an insurance investigator knows that could hurt his family. Nathan and Laurel also have something else besides their own secrets. They are both drawn to each other. Do sparks fly? You’re going to have to read the Trouble with Nathan to find out!
I’m sorry this is the last of the series but you won’t be sorry when you read it. I was glued to this story wanting to know what’s next!
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review and I honestly recommend you read it.
