Love this album it came sealed and when I opened it it had a Double of side d and c which left me without sides a and b , overall I'm happy with it though.

From Shrimp, to Champion Nibble to Shelf Wobbler, I cannot get enough of this funky dude. Scruff once again establishes himself as a jazzernautical funkstar. Incredible.

I bought Ninja Tuna as well and love both. Great music, very upbeat. Love listening to it while I work on the computer.

The instrumentation is sparse - no fault there, it's the best way to enjoy the rhythms in the tracks. The little inconsequential, cool songs provide more than enough stimuli to to dance and relax.

Fun, fun, fun. For the Mr. Scruff fans. Comical, whimsical, enjoyable.

I expected much more, considering other music ... such as ... Ninja Tuna ... that I had heard. The low price attracted me ... guess you get what you pay for

A acid-jazz house music disc.
A fantastic disc.
The strongest swing of the last years.
Mr Scruff mix the acid jazz house with the violence of a rokers.
You will find also some rhythm of the UK new wawe (Vibrate...for example!) but the real force of this album it's the variety : Shelf Wobbler it's an ossessive rythm in your brain, Shrimp it's an example how you can put togheter different sounds, but everything starts from Here we go....try to stand up...you will not remain without dancing and moving your body.
Trouser Jazz it's a cd for a crazy party but also for having nice and not conventional music in your mind.

"Another solid and funky effort in part of the Scruffster or Andy McCarthy shining child-like humour and quirky vibes to his already great music. In many places, it is best than Keep It Unreal and it can be rather engaging as itself given the list of songs on there and how they keep into an effect consistent throughout. If this is the comedian, then K.I.U. was the suave orator/host at a party. The use of glockenspiel, sax, and electronic flutes convey an image to bouncy kids dancing to the latest McFly better but a billion times better than them. Trouser Jazz does suffer from being a little hit-and-miss on the surface with occasional mellow and hip-hop tunes that are OK but feel a little bored or misplaced for what this album, and its rather suggestive title, give out. But in the end, Trouser Jazz sticks more to the heart and ribs of McCarthy's vision than even some of his most recent stuff (Bonus Bait and Ninja Tuna) which can be found on Windows Media Player."
BEST SONGS: Sweetsmoke (the title explains a lot). Ug (darker sound but freakishly excellent). Come On Granddad (cute and whimsical). Giffin (pure electro-funk that has a very quirky element to it).
SIMILAR ARTISTS AND ALBUMS: Wagon Christ- Musipal and Sorry I Make You Lush. Liquid Soul- Liquid Soul. Funki Porcini- The Ultimately Empty Million Pounds.

"Champion Nibble"......
Reviewed in Canada on June 30, 2013
I took a chance on this and when it arrived I played the
album from the start. It wasn't till I got to the "Nibble"
that it hit me! This Mr. Scruff is choppy but when he hits
it....he makes it good! Some of the material, especially the
first 15 to 20 minutes are forgettable. Careful with this one.....

Ich sage nur: Leute die eher coolen, "Swingern-Sound" Electro mögen, sollten es unbedingt kaufen. (Besser aber, dass man sich davor die Anspielungen anhört).
