Bought this one because it was 4 cycle (no more fuel mixing) and the line feeder type is far simpler and easy. The first couple times I tried starting it was a bit difficult. But then I realized I was not following proper procedure. Keep in mind this model (at least the one I bought does not have a choke). It does state in the manual to grip the handle on a flat surface AND operate the throttle at the same time you're pulling the starter rope. I wasn't doing that, I was only gripping the handle where there is a throttle lock-out bar that is compressed by your hand when you hold the trimmer. After I realized my error I started doing both, grip handle AND pull the throttle at starting and it's started quickly Every time. Switching out the two different style trim heads was a snap. It appears to be good on fuel (even though I thought the fuel tank is a little small). Has a nice oil fill with a easy to read window. The shoulder strap that it comes with is slightly small for me but the attachment ring is amenable to pretty much anything that has clips on the end. I'm sure there are more expensive models with a few other bells, but I also like this trimmer's versatility in adapting to other (Troy-Bilt) yard tools. Overall it's more than satisfactory.
