About the Author
When Natasha was little, there was only one thing she wanted to be: a superhero. Unfortunately, being a klutz isn’t a super-power. She turned to writing because it allows her to be anything she wants, including a caped crusader. When not writing, she is an instructor and editor. Visit her at www.natashadeen.com.

Pepper and Harley are awesome! They are tough and courageous, everything you look for in a heroine/hero. Throughout the book, their characters grow and develop beautifully, as they are exposed to some wildly intense situations that bring about parts of themselves they didn't know existed. And as they grow individually, their relationship with one another grows as well, leaving you, as the reader, intrigued and wanting much, much more.
Overall, the originality of the story is enough to draw you in, and the intensity of the manhunt for Von Beulow leaves you holding your breath, eager to find out what happens next. As I have recently discovered, this is the first in what appears to be a series of books, and I cannot wait to begin the next one!
Now, on to the story. Seriously? Pepper Powder Puff? Harley Hands? Just from the names alone you get a kick out of the story. But, they are actually awesome characters. Faeries who double as teens to work the True Grime unit. Yep, they are in charge of ridding the world of this thing called a VIRUS(VIURS). Once they are are undercover, the partners head out to rid the human world of all the nasties, all the virus'. But what they encounter there is not what they expected. Will they be able to rid the world of the grime? Will they be able to save humanity?
In this fun, laugh-out-loud, story readers young and old alike will have fun getting to know Pepper and Harley and the True Grime gang. They take you on a roller coaster of ups and downs, blending the perfect amount of mystery with laughs, and creating a fantastic story of good verses evil.
I highly recommend this with a 5 Books rating! It's fantastic! Whether it's romantic suspense, or young adult urban fantasy, Ms. Deen knows how to create lovable characters, and detailed plot lines and keep the reader hooked from beginning to end. I'm now a fan of Young Adult fantasy ,especially grime fighting faeries! I certainly hope Pepper makes a return in the future!

Some of you may know how much I adored What Happens In Vegas by Natasha. I was more then happy when she asked me to review her new book True Grime.
True Grime is about Pepper and her partner Harley and how they have to keep the fairies from harming humans. They are part of a task force called True Grime. They get assigned to find one of them most dangerous criminals Claude and have to stop his evil plan of killing humans. They have to go undercover as teenagers to track down Claude. You will enjoy how Pepper reacts to the human world. She has no experience with them and it creates some laugh out loud funny situations. The book also dives into the world of bulling. I also really enjoyed the faires full names like Pepper Petunia Powder-Puff and Harley Hands. I also loved how Pepper would get with Harley the second she showed any feelings for him. It was cute and well written. Natasha just wraps you into this story and keeps you there. This story had lots of twists and turns that I really enjoyed. I also loved how Harley would tease Pepper and their banter is very enjoyable in the book. The book keeps you hooked and the writing is fantastic. Natasha didn't let me down and I enjoyed this book very much. This is my first experience with faries in a book and I am more then happy I read it.
I give True Grime by Natasha Deen 5 of 5 stars.
