Savage Garden songs are basically the soundtrack to my middle school life and listening to them always brings me back to hanging out with friends, my first failed relationships and all the hopes I had for the world. Although I own both their CDs I was excited for this one. Unfortunately, I do not own it but have listened to it extensively.

This CD does contain many of their hits (Including, from Savage Garden - "I Want You" and "Truly Madly Deeply" and from Affirmation "I Knew I Loved You," "The Animal Song" and "Crash And Burn ") and, if you like the music but don't want to purchase the whole 2 albums or aren't a huge fan, this is a good CD full of 90's pop with strong, creative lyrics, danceable beats, sweet ballos and song mechanisms that don't necessarily fall into standard pop cliches.

This CD also contains B-sides which SG has released over the years.
Many SG fans, including myself, have fallen in love with those B-sides and the addition of this is genius. Although I never owned any of the singles, I spent much time hunting down the songs online to add them to my collection and I'm glad I did; though they may not have been singles themselves, they're all high quality gems and many are unique in sounds (which is probably why they were left off the CDs, not because they are dull songs).

I did not specifically notice the remastering although I have listened to these songs in digital format which may be less clear; however, as everyone knows, sometimes it's the clicks, pops and "white noise" that makes us love an album even more and, if that's what you're looking for, I suggest you buy the original 2 CDs.

I give Darren Hayes a five STARS on his CD, all his music is very loved. He only leaves you wanting more. sweet, strong an emotional, loving; carefully put into poetic words. There is definitely more to Darren Hayes then meets the eye. Waters run deep when Darren is singing from his heart. In this Truly, Madly, Completely the best of Savage Garden CD. I Knew I loved You, So Beautiful and You Got the Music In You. are my FAVORITES.

If there was a celebrity I could meet; it would be Darren Hayes. He and his music will all ways have a place in my heart. I hope he well never stop writing music or singing. People that listen to his music will fall in love all over again with some you hold in your heart.

A great sing a long album that is incredibly easy to the ears; in the same traditions of Coldplay. This duo made good music and i was sad to hear they disbanded. The album is a nostalgic collector's item.

I very much like SG and sometimes its nice just to have an album that has most of their greatest hits to work out to or just listen too. My suggestion is that it is a nice collection to your music library.

Many of You who are reading this review may remember the band "SAVAGE GARDEN" from the 1980s!!!. They recorded such songs as "TRULY MADLY DEEPLY" as well as many other BIG HITS. I would recommend this album to anyone who is looking for 1970s/1980s Music!!!.

Savage Garden was around when I was growing up, and their debut cd was the first album I ever owned. All that time, I never heard anyone say that their music sucked. There have been people who have said that they are a bit sugar-coated, but admit that they have relatable emotion and catchy lyrics. I have seen grown men cry to songs like "Truly, Madly, Deeply" and "I Knew I Loved You." Beautiful and senstive songs that just let you zone out and think about lost-loves, new-loves, etc. If only radio today could have good music like this these days. Anyway, they didn't leave any good songs off this album, so long-time fans and new ones will like it equally. Also, new and lesser songs by Savage Garden and Darren Hayes appear, including "So Beautiful" which shows the high voice of Hayes without being annoying. Very nicely done. Here's the run-down:

01. I Want You: Their first single released in the U.S. I really like this song because it's upbeat (lyrics are fly by but you can understand everything they are saying) and it pretty much explains any relationship that everyone's been apart of.

02. I Knew I Loved You: Part of the romantic side of Savage Garden. Chicks will love this song because it says what they wish every senstive guy would tell them. Pure cheesy awesome-ness.

03. To The Moon & Back: One of my personal favorites tracks. Upbeat and unlike anything heard on the radio at the time (or even today). The ending to this song makes it feel like it should have been the closing track, but since it's so great of a song, it had to be the front.

04. Hold Me: Another sweet song for the ladies. With lyrics like, "finding it hard to be your man" you know that it will melt your heart. (And I say that with full security about my sexuality)

I'll finish the review later. Stay tuned
