I hate books that are written and sold as a single book, but they are not. The book is left hanging in order to make you buy a second book. I will never buy or read another book by this author, and I will certainly not recommend this book to others.

This one surprised me and blew me away. WOW! It grabbed from the beginning and held my “nail biting” attention until the end. The writing is terrific and the characters are beautiful creations. Both Paige and Caleb are mysteries that unfold in a delicious and deadly way throughout the story. Their romance is a slow build and for Paige is built on a shaky foundation of trust. But can she really trust him? Caleb shouldn’t be involved with Paige. She supposed to be a job to him not a romance but she captivates him in a way he can’t resist. This is a dangerous, sexy love story built on top of lies and intrigue and tragedy. I can’t wait for the next story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC and bought the book.

Who is Casey Diam and where has she been hiding? What the f@#$!?! This is an incredible book. It's impossible to leave the story. Even when I had to put my kindle down and adult, I was constantly trying to figure out all the pieces to this puzzle.

And what a puzzle it is!!!!!

Holy moly! My mind is spinning. My heart is freaking pounding. Not to mention the steamy scenes that had me panting like a dog in heat. What doesn't this book have!?! Only answer to that is an ending. Lol. It ends in a big old wtaf!?! Or as others commonly refer to it...a cliffhanger.

Trust is definitely a book you need. I strongly advise grabbing the Hope and Love too because I have a feeling binge reading is required. I only stopped in my pursuit of answers to type this review. YOU NEED THIS BOOK.

This debut novel really started off both a bang-literally. There's quite a bit of drama for Paige and Caleb. Who should each of them trust. There's a lot going on in this book, so it gets a little jumbled. But the storyline has captured my interest, so I'm off to read the next book in the series.

Ugh. This could have been an amazing book. The story has promise, but the writing is not great. There was a lot of telling instead of showing, confusing situations, revelations that weren't a big deal and things that should have been revelations treated like nothing, characters that flip-flopped their feelings every other scene, and just badly written sentences. A great editor could have done wonders, really cleaned it up. As it is, I will not be buying the next book in the series. Though I'm curious to know what happens, I can't look past the book's flaws to make myself read another in the series.

I finished this book because I was curious but I definitely considered stopping several times. The sexy scenes were incredibly sexy and the plot had the ability to be a 10/10 experience, however, the lack of character development and abundance of gaps in the story really effected the book. I just hated how hooked I was one moment just to turn the page and get confused the next. I really wanted to be in love with the book because Paige was an intriguing character but eh I just liked it.
