  • The first print issue should arrive in 12-16 weeks. Details

International Addresses: Magazine subscriptions offered at Amazon.com can only be shipped within the 50 United States, APO/FPO address and U.S. Protectorates. We are unable to process magazines to other destinations at this time. Please contact the magazine's publisher for further assistance.

When to Expect Your First Issue: Magazine subscriptions ordered at Amazon.com are shipped to you by the magazine's publisher. The first issue of a weekly magazine should arrive within 4-6 weeks of your order. The first issue of a monthly magazine should arrive within 6-10 weeks, unless otherwise noted.

Once you've placed an order at Amazon.com, it can take one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped via standard mail. For example, if your monthly subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in November, and the December issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the January mailing. You can find out more information, including how to contact the publisher about your subscription, in Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.

Renewing Your Subscription: If you are ordering as a renewal to the same name and address as the current subscription, the publisher will add the Amazon order to your current subscription. For example, if you have 5 issues left and you add 12 through Amazon, you will now have 17 issues left on your subscription. Please note that the expiration date in the Magazine Subscription Manager will not reflect if you were already on file with the publisher. We will work with the publisher to ensure that you still receive all of the issues left on your subscription.

Publication Frequency: Magazines which show "irregular" availability are those which are not published according to a regular schedule. If you place an order for such a magazine, you will receive new issues as soon as they are available.

  • Control your subscription settings anytime using Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.
  • If you purchase the auto-renewal offer, your subscription will renew for the same term length at the renewal rate available on Amazon. Cancel anytime.

3.0 out of 5 stars Like it but not as good as it used to be February 27, 2014
Subscription Term Name:1 year auto-renewal|Verified Purchase
The articles, stories, and pictures in Birds & Blooms used to be the best. I could hardly wait for the next magazine to arrive in the mail.
Now it has advertisements that take up 1/3rd of the magazine, the articles are mostly little snipits (less than half a page), and the stories are about people in love (really).
I have subscribed to birds & blooms for years and loved every page, but am doubting whether I will renew for another year. I love everything to do with flowers, gardening and birds, and this magazine had it all. The articles were the best and the pictures were wonderful. I looked forward to reading the stories that went with pictures people had taken, and the questions people asked about birds, flowers, nests, or trees they had seen.
I don't know what's happened but they need to go back to the way it was.

5.0 out of 5 stars Old Friends July 3, 2012
Subscription Term Name:1 year
My family has enjoyed this magazine for years. I agree that the solicitations for renewal are overkill and addressed this concern by having my mother's subscription sent to me. The beautiful photography is a joy for Mom now that dementia has limited her ability to read. Other magazines are often tossed in the trash, but Birds and Blooms is enjoyed by three generations until the pages are worn. It's great to have a magazine that focuses on something positive. Birds and Blooms is a feast for the eyes and a celebration of the beauty that surrounds us. It's as if an old friend has stopped in for a visit when Birds and Blooms arrives in the mail.

5.0 out of 5 stars Birds & Blooms - Fun and Educational February 25, 2015
By G. Hunt
Subscription Term Name:1 year|Verified Purchase
I love this magazine. It has wonderful pictures of birds and plants and flowers. The amount of information is amazing!! It always has some fun activities (DIY) for both adults and children, too. This magazine is worth every penny of it's subscription price, which is under $20.00 per year. It would be a great educational tool for parents that are home-schooling their children. All of these magazines I have received are still in my home library.

Delightful Magazine!!! It is colorful..love all the pictures!!! The articles are informative & entertaining. I have gotten some great ideas for my garden and for my bird feeders. I especially like the information on how to help our bees by planting specific pollinators. I also appreciated learning how to attract different birds to my yard. This is a magazine I will enjoy for years to come.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money June 14, 2016

Not much to the magazine. VERY thin and lots of advertising.
I only bought the subscription because it was a $5 deal. Will not renew. NOT worth it. And, you only get 6 issues. It is bi-monthly

5.0 out of 5 stars Bird Lovers' Magazine April 25, 2013
Subscription Term Name:1 year|Verified Purchase
It's a wonderful magazine for the bird lover. The articles provide good tips on how to attract "good" birds to your feeders. I'm not a flower guy, but the information provided regarding flowers is very useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great magazine June 27, 2012
By Liz
Subscription Term Name:1 year
This is a great magazine for the amateur birder and gardener. It focuses on backyard birding and flowers, and has very informative articles. I also really enjoy the stories and tips shared by other readers. Just makes you feel good to read it! I've given this as a gift to my mother, sister and grandmother, and they all love it and continue to subscribe. I did not experience any problems with those subscriptions, however I did go direct thru the magazine itself.

I got this subscription for my mom for Xmas. She is retired, and we moved a bit into the country. There are lots of birds to see, and lots of gardening to be done. She loves the images and information shared in this magazine. She most likes that it is a nice mix of birding and gardening.
