Enter the hero. Bryson. At first glance he looks like an Irish bad boy bartender. Tattoos give the impression he is a lot more dangerous than he is. His family is local and he is now running the bar since his father retired. Actually he is a very loving, caring, kind and thoughtful man. He has been waiting for the right girl to come along and upon seeing Kelsi he knows she has arrived. He pursues her relentlessly. She runs, her thoughts of what has been her life keeps her from enjoying her present.
This is their story. I thought it was very entertaining. Holds the attention throughout. I have no problems with love at first sight and then getting to know the person and know you are right. Their issues take a backseat as their attraction turns to love. the dog, Goliath, plays a funny part. As well as the cat David. It is a very good read with a very happy ever after. I could see the brother transforming as soon as he had the male leadership he so desired. I think that is very possible. His "don't care" attitude was just a defense he had learned to use. When he no longer needed it, he dropped it and became the young boy he was meant to be. A good story all around. Lots of side characters that probably make this series a good one. I definitely recommend the book. There are open door bedroom scenes so if that is a problem for you, beware. Frankly, I was glad to see her give in, he was well worth it!!
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this writer. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 3/17/18,
Kelsie and Bryson are pulled to each other, but they have a lot of things to work through....especially Kelsie.
A book that I had to read through to the end. I like Kelsie and Bryson. They make a great couple. I am enjoying this series.
Milo is a bit of a handful but I enjoyed him in the story. Bryson and Kelsi were also great. Can't wait for more
I kept thinking (hoping) it would get better.
Whatshername, the nittwit (h), needed to be punched upside the head! ... and perhaps in the boob, just for good measure!
Skimmed the last 30% ... and only then because I was waiting for my nails to dry before bed and it’s too late to start a new book.
