I have truly been waiting to read Truth's story since I first read about him in Kat's story, Savage Stalker (Savage Angels MC #1)! This much anticipated description of the beginning of the The Grinders is a complimentary addition to Author Kathleen Kelly's Savage Angels MC Series!
The storyline grabs you from the get go and doesn't let go, not even in the end. This author has you so wrapped around her characters that you just can't wait to see what happens next. I am so on the edge of my seat already waiting with anticipation the continuation of the Grinders stories!
I love how Kathleen Kelly adds so much depth to her characters, she makes them come alive to the point you feel their emotions right along with them. She opens your eyes to all the intricacies e lives of the Band Members as well as the MC.
A heart wrenching emotional rollercoaster ride you hope never ends!! Well Done!!🌺
I haven’t had the pleasure of reading the Savage Angels MC series but believe me after reading this I will make it a point to make that happen. There were a few tie-ins that were mentioned and were done in a way that I didn’t feel that I lost anything by reading Savage Truth before those. It just gave me the incentive to get myself in gear and make it a priority to read those books asap. This is a very well written book that will bring its characters to life for you which means you will have times that you feel sorry for that little boy, you will feel the determination that Truthful had, the sorrow that he felt at different times in his life and most importantly the love that you had for that one special person. Be warned though because even though you have the HEA you also have a cliffhanger that will have you waiting on pins and needles to see where Truth and Rosie’s story will go.
This book was freely provided to me as an ARC for an honest review.
Will Truth be able to overcome the demons from his own past and forge ahead with a successful future or he is destined to make the same mistakes as his mother? Will Truth be able to move on from the past to have a happy life and make amends with the mistakes in his past?
This was an emotional book dealing with some pretty heavy topics and subjects but also had some great moments of positivity and re-evaluating what it truly means to be family.
The love story of Faithful Love and Dexter Hunter was tragic almost from the beginning as he was a guy who had fallen in love with a girl with a very free spirit and one that went after what she wanted. I understood why she began to get depressed but with Truthful arriving she seemed to be doing better until she began so overwhelmed with all the kids. Dex did his best by going to school and trying to make something of his life and become a doctor. Unfortunately that left Faith in a bad place and giving in to her demons, which she did at an alarming rate. I must admit at the very beginning of the book I really liked Faith and then for me she went straight downhill. At the same time I was so disappointed in the choices that Dex made after everything went down and how he abandoned his kids.
I liked Truthful and how he found his passion - the guitar and how he worked hard to prove he can do it. I was definitely worried when he got involved with Mick as I saw him on the same path as his mom but he showed how strong he really was.
I was scared with everything that went down with Kat but I loved how The Grinders bounced back from that and Truthful was able to overcome things and meet Rosie! It was interesting to read everything that went down between Dex and Truth and how they were able to come to terms with everything.
The ending left a little bit of a cliffhanger between Violet and Curtis and I am curious to see how everything goes down.
