Top customer reviews
The end of the book seemed rushed and lacking. After the Lydia/ Wickham part draws to a conclusion, the remainder of the book seems to wander and drift toward resolution.
There is mature content. It is quite satisfying. I only wish the encounters in the second half of the book were as detailed and gratifyingly carnal as they were in the first 70% of the book.
Although the writer captured some of Jane Austen 's style of writing, there was also some of Charlotte Bronte's flair for melodrama, in my opinion, best demonstrated in the way Darcy loves Elizabeth. Totally enjoyable read; I highly recommend.
