My only complaint is that it is really hard to clean the black off the stamps, but I may not be using the right product for that.
I will say that the StazOn stamp pads behave differently than the regular stamp pads you get at craft stores. They are VERY inky. Do no push your stamp into the sponge of the pad or you are going to end up with an inky blob instead of an image. Just lightly kiss the surface and then briefly kiss the surface of what you are stamping. If you push down into either it will blob out the details. Also, be very careful to always put the plastic cover and lid back on the pad when you are not using it. One of my StazOn pads dried up in just one day when I forgot to leave the lid on (I've done so with my other stamp pads and it didn't seem to hurt them).
I've used StazOn on transparencies, glossy paper, textured paper, wood etc. It's great for images where you need to color in with watercolor paints or pencils. Only thing I would recommend is that the stamp is not over-inked so you get a crisp image. Make sure with all StazOn ink pads that the internal clear plastic stamp pad cover is adhered to the external stamp pad cover so it does not get lost. I use some glue dots to adhere the internal and external stamp pad covers. If you lose the clear plastic internal stamp pad cover the ink pad will dry out very quickly.
Enter Tsukineko! This product is exactly as described! We used this ink to stamp plastic, polybags (food packaging), foil and tin. It dries pretty quickly and is fairly permanent. We tried rubbing it off about 10 seconds after stamping, and there was NO smudging at all! The only surface that it didn't work too well with was on top of really glossy labels. Maybe if we let it dry a bit longer, it would work. But it wasn't a big deal for us.
Suggestion for use - have a napkin or q-tip handy! If you do make a mistake in stamping, it will usually wipe off clean if you do it really quickly (like 1-2 seconds within stamping). Saved me a lot of trouble of having to use ink remover. It's been about 3 months since I ordered and started using this. We have stamped literally hundreds of things with this and it still looks new (pad dry at all - still works great).
Note: even with your name on it kids still don't return it but eventually items usually make it home. As a baseball coach my baseball loss factor dropped in a huge way. My bucket stays full longer and at practices kids and dads return balls that would normally stay in their bags and garages.
