    I just received my cover today, and I'm a little disappointed. Granted, it looks and feels great, and the Kindle fits perfectly inside of it. However, I'm confused as to why the cover opening is on the left. I find this very unnatural, and it is my concern that I'll pick it up upsidedown and the Kindle might fall out, as there is nothing securing it across the top. Also, I'm concerned because the inside cover isn't the same soft leather that's on the outside, and worry that it may scratch the screen. Not sure yet, if I'm going to keep it, or return it.

    After reading many reviews highlighting the downsides of the other two styles of covers, (Amazon and M-Edge) this one addressed my concerns. The Kindle DX slips into the pocket from the top edge, which eliminates the possibility of the screen becoming cracked, and the cut outs allow access to all the controls and look much more secure and much more quality than the corner straps featured on other covers. The leather is very nice and is slightly padded to give it a "squishy" feel. The tab snaps (magnetized) on the back which helps protect the Kindle screen. The snap could be a little larger to make it easier to close. There are places to keep a pen, paper and business card, if that's important to someone. The case shipped from the U.K. and still arrived (west coast) within a week. I'm quite happy with it.

    I have liked this case. It looks good and feels good. All the controls are easily accessible.
    The main issues I have had with it, is that if you pick it up upside down the kindle can slip out of the case if you are not careful.
    Because the case is not rigid; its very soft and flexible my kindle dx screen broke when I leaned against it.
    A more rigid case may help protect against breaking the kindle screen accidentally by pressure.
    It feels like the case uses a thin piece of cardboard between the soft leather exterior cover and the interior fabric. This causes it to be overly flexible.

    I ordered this cover to protect my Kindle DX and protect it does! The cover fits very snugly, but it is still very easy to remove. The leather is very nice and feels really good in your hands. The cover is padded which helps you hold it securely. I've had my cover for about 2 months now and it is holding up really well. The only concern I have with the cover is that when I left it on a chair outside in the sun for a short time the lining inside bubbled up a little. I was able to smooth most of the bubbles, but I would not recommend leaving this case in a really warm location (like inside a car on a sunny day...or on a chair in a sunny location outside).

    It is soft and sable, but...
    The cardboard inside of leather is fairly thin, easily bent; therefore, not much protection for screen.
    The lamb skin will leave marks when you have hard and heavy objects sitting on top (or bottom) for a few short minutes, it does not bounce up; unlike thick and heavy cow skin.
    I like it as a indoor cover.

    I love this case. I like the fact that my Kindle is completely inside the case. Its not held on with just 4 pieces of stretch material over the corners. I don't have to worry about opening it a certain way for fear I might crack my Kindle screen. I have no problems using any of the keys on the Kindle or plugging it in to charge the battery. I think this is the best case available by far.
