    When I first got my Kindle 3, I decided I wouldn't spend much money on a cover and got a Blue mCover® Leather Folio Cover Case for Amazon Kindle 3. It did the job but it also emanated an intense chemical smell because it was what is so evasively called "faux leather" these days. Next came a BoxWave Manila Kindle Leather Envelope, which again was synthetic. While I still like its design and think it is cute and functional, I finally realized I wanted a genuine leather cover. After reading many reviews and wading through information on numerous websites I finally settled on the Tuff-Luv cover.

    The reasons:

    1. Functionality
    While out and about I sometimes stop at a cafe where I like to read my book while eating or having a cup of coffee. The Tuff-Luv let's me do just that by being a hands-free stand. Moreover, it offers more than one viewing angle which was very important to me - nothing worse than a viewing angle that is too steep.

    2. REACH Compliance
    REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use. After having noticed so many chemical odors coming from those synthetic leather covers, I really wanted something that was not only the real thing but also safe. Tuff-Luv delivers and meets this guideline - well worth the price tag in my opinion.

    3. Warranty
    Tuff-Luv offers a lifetime warranty on all of their covers.

    My practical experience with the Tuff-Luv Multi-View has been nothing but good. The leather is beautiful and product quality is all around excellent. No loose threads or bent corners or cutouts that don't quite fit. Everything about this cover spells quality. When I stand the Kindle up on a table, it is very sturdy and not in danger of collapsing. Daily handling has done nothing to compromise the construction or the look. I really couldn't be happier.

    We got these new covers after ruining a Kindle with the old non lighted Amazon covers. I don't fine this cover as attractive as the old cover and they can be awkward to use. I really like the "book" opening and feel of the older covers. However, I do like the stand feature of this cover. Just wish there was one with the opening and "feel" of a book that also has a stand feature.

    The different position angles, good craftsmanship, and great engineering make this case the best choice for someone who reads a lot. Though there are some downsides, I would still only by this Tuff-Luv case over others.
    There are three different angles that the case allows for the kindle to rest at. The first (closest) and third (furthest) positions are great for different uses. When I am following along with the reading in a class, the third position is at just the right angle. The first position is great for reading at home. The Tuff-Luv case is very sturdy, it holds the kindle in position quite well. That is probably because of multiple pieces of velcro. The case has two opposite pieces of velcro at each postion and two on the brace that holds itself up. This was beyond my expectation and makes for a very firm and sturdy product. The quality of velcro is nice as well, it is not the standard big hook and loop, but micro-velcro. I see it lasting for a long time.
    Along with the velcro, there are other parts that are crafted very well. It seems that Tuff-Luv made this case with the reader in mind. All the stitching is put together very well, very tight. All the edges have a sealant which makes for a great look. Again, the velcro quality is very nice as are the snapping buttons, they lock in very snug for a comforting assurance. The button that closes the case is a magnetic button which is nice. There were some things that could be improved though, in my opinion.
    It is probably not this way with all the cases, but the brace that holds the kindle up is not perfectly straight (on mine, I have not seen others). This does not change the use at all, but it was just something I noticed. One thing that does upset me a little is that it does not seem good to bend the case completely in half. If one wanted to hold the case in hand, that would not be beneficial because it puts too much of a bend on the crack of the case. It seems like the two pieces of leather would eventually seperate because of bending it that far. Also, the magnetic button that closes the case is good, but it could be a little easier to find the whole. If the magnetic part was not a button at all, it would not need to find the whole, just be pressed together(like on my wife's purse).
    The downsides are not enough to make me change to a different case, I would still by this case again and again. It is a great case!

If possible, this product might be better if it also protected the sides, in case the kindle falls onto a side. I absolutely love the stand, it has three adjustable placings. Pity the bottom part where the usb goes in to charge rips easily. Overall, this product is simple and (mostly) durable!

    I bought one of these kindle covers approx 6 months ago as a present and it was a lovely cover genuine leather and well padded i decided to order myself one a few days ago and this one is, i would say, not leather and not as well padded it also is matt and cheap looking, as i bought this at a reduced price i have kept it as it will do the job but if i had paid full price i would not have considered keeping it.

    La parte interior de la funda no es cuero y se desgastan los bordes, quedando a la vista el tejido desgastado con un color más blanquecino.
    Eso deprecia mucho la funda. He intentado tapar ese desgaste con tintura de rotulador, pero al quedar a la vista el entramado textil no se soluciona.
    De todos modos, la parte que queda al exterior no se ha estropeado y la funda cumple su función protectora
