Good Content, Hard to Hear

This would be a five star review except that the volume for this stream continues to be lower than other components of our daily flash briefing. One star removed for low volume (seemingly easily fixable), and one star removed for not already fixing this when other reviewers have brought this up,

Would be a great app if I could hear it....

Relative to all other apps, the volume is disruptively quiet. Don't include this within your morning flash briefing, as you'll end up having to turn the volume up to 10 for BBC, only to have to quickly turn it down to volume 5 for the following app. The problem has existed for ages now. I'm at a loss why no-one, both Amazon or BBC have addressed it. Amazon should not have let it pass their quality control because the user experience is not fluid when packaged with other apps. BBC, well, great content, but please fix once and for all.

Volume and not updating

The report hasn't updated in the past two weeks and the volume on the report is still incredibly low. The content is great, but need to fix!

This skill is useless when added to my flash briefing, and I’ve decided that it’s now time to delete it. The volume is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the rest of the news/skills. I had to STRAIN to hear what is being said. I read previous reviews and assumed it would be an easily fix (this is the BBC, not some independent outfit that doesn’t know what it’s doing), but I’ve waited a MONTH with no change. It lost three stars for that. The remaining two stars is for the quality of the news, which was excellent. I would have considered adding a third star if the news was updated throughout the day.

I love the information but agree with the many others that the volume is way too low - you can't turn it up even after several commands to a volume to allow you to hear it and once it is complete, the next flash briefing blasts out way too loud. Would like to hear it as the content is great (when I can hear it, which isn't often!)

Volume too low

We have to rely on news from outside the USA now, so please fix the volume on BBC News. Have to say louder when it starts, then lower when the next flash starts. It seems easy to fix. I’ve been waiting for it to be done

I don’t know who at the BBC is responsible for processing the audio files but apparently they have super hearing. Its painfully obvious that this persons manager at the BBC doesn’t listen to any BBC content. Otherwise they would have noticed within the last 18 months that the audible levels barely register. And for the record I’m not yet old and don’s require hearing aides. So my conclusion is... if people at the BBC don’t have enough interest or trust in listeing to their own content, then count me out as well.

Volume way too low

I generally enjoy BBC news updates, but this skill is inaudible within my flash briefings with no way to adjust the skill specific volume needs to be corrected asap.
