I bought this to improve the storage in my kitchen. At first, I had both whole wheat and regular spaghetti in boxes in the cabinet which I combined into the container. They required about the same cooking time. This was noticable to diners so I might not recommend this approach, though it tasted fine. Now, I'm just using the whole wheat spaghetti. This might most ideal for people who buy larger packages of spaghetti.

I like the last side so it can lay on the side in my cabinet (which isn't tall enough for the container to stand on end.

The only limitations are the little plastic piece that allows the specified amount of spaghetti to come out is hard to get snapped in place and the spagetti is a little hard to get started coming out of the container with the plastic piece in place (of course you can take it out and easily access the spaghetti).

I wish I'd bought one years ago--the convenience is wonderful!

Did NOT get what I ordered or what is pictured. The description says, picture shows, a white plastic insert to measure the spaghetti. Picture shows a flat lid. I had one of these spaghetti dispensers from years ago, but the lid broke and I just wanted to replace it. The lid that came with this is for pouring ... it has a pour spout. Thin spaghetti might fit through it, but anything like a fettucini will not. Was really pleased with the delivery (it even came on a Sunday!!) but I have to return it as this is NOT what I wanted or ordered.

NOT a noodle dispenser! Unless you only want a grand total of 6 noodles at a time?!? The lid that I received is NOT the one pictured. I used to own one for years and loved it. The lid cracked due to 20 years of use. Ordered this one and got something more like a LIQUID pour spout. Ship what you advertise people!

This is a top notch product that arrived early & intact(no cracks, breaks, scratches, etc).
It's easy to use & the lid seals securely & was pleasantly surprised to find a portion control device inside the container.

This is not a purchase you will regret making....I recommend the purchase of this storage container.

This newer model Tupperware Spaghetti Container is not nearly as good as the older model which had a lid that turned to give closed, one portion, or two portion positions. The measuring insert of the new model will not stay in place. Unfortunately, the older but better model is no longer available. Probably due to outsourcing of quality in favor of profits.

That white measuring piece is useless, but I didn't plan to use it. It holds spaghetti and keeps the moths from getting into my food. Problem solved. Back in the 1990s I went to a tupperware party and got one of these as a free gift for coming up with the longest list of thigns that can be stored in it. Yet all I have ever used these for is spaghetti. I lost mine in the divorce and the new one works exactly like the old one did :-)

This is a quality container, like all Tupperware products. I'm giving it two stars, because there is a design problem with the lid. The lid has a lip on either side of it. To put the lid on the container those lips must fit exactly into the slots on the container. My husband used the container and asked, "You are kidding me, right?" It is a real pain in the butt to get the lid back on. Definitely not worth the aggravation. It is in the recycling bin.

Will barely accept one package of my favorite angel hair spaghetti, but the real beef is that lid fits so tightly that I had to use pliers to open it. Made for cuts around the rim and now it can be opened by hand.
