Cassie and Curtis seemed like the wrong couple to get together but in my experience it's always the opposites that are the most fun pairings and these two have chemistry off the charts!! I love Cord and Saylor as parents...they still love each other with a passion that will never fade and watching their babies find their own loves is so rewarding.
I love everything this author writes and devoured this book like a yummy dessert. Get it and fall in love with Curtis...OMG =)
***** 5 ***** "proving his worth" stars
Ms Brent does such a great job spinning the saga that is Gentry. This book is no different. Curtis and Cassidy meet and incorrectly assume personalities of the other, even though they are wildly attracted to one another. They each have their eye opening moments. Then an incident arises that begins their romantic journey.
Of course there is an HEA! And more characters are developed. I'm just as anxious to read more about the other characters as I am to read more about the established couples! I love that the Gentry triplets rose above their beginnings, raised great families and now you see the strength of their love and support. They can't keep the bad from their children but they provide the love and support for when they hit the bumps in the road. Hence my disappointment I can't dive right into the next book.
I originally began the Gentry saga buying the books through the kindle. Then I got KU and was pleasantly surprised this series was available there. Well, my subscription ran out (I'd bought 6 months on a special). So now I'm back to buying. Even getting those I've already read because I felt Ms Brent was worth having a complete set. Does that say this book (and ultimately the whole family series) is worth it to read or what?
I loved everything about Cassie and Curtis. They both believed they knew everything they needed to know about the other, he's a former gang member, she's a privileged princess, but they were quickly proven wrong. I also love getting to see the first generation of Gentrys as parents. There is so much love and support in this family and I feel like with every new book, I become even more of a part of that family than before. I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes next for the Gentry Family!
This story is so good. It's much more than a bad boy goes good story. A Kindle Keeper!
Cassie Gentry has had her life turned up side down in high school and still trying to over come it when she meets Curtis who is total opposite of her but this bad boy has turned his life around and is trying to raise his brothers but they're attracted to each other but is that enough ?
I have to say Cora didn't disappoint us in turn and we keep loving our Gentry family and men and the women who love with all there heart and soul. Kuddles Cora and can't wait for your next book.
Ps if Tristian needs a women I would be gladly to be that women lol
