Review
U Turn, God Turns is about the author's spiritual awakening; not only his rebirth into the things of God, but the acknowledgement of God's hand throughout his life, from the day he was born. It is a great journey where we are exposed to the choices, both good and bad, made by author Michael Vincent Robinson. This book is an inspiration to help us understand our value in God's eyes and to help us to change and become what God wants for us in faith and love. This book will inspire the reader to try a bit harder and to never give up on oneself.
U Turn, God Turns is an interesting journey where the author takes readers along the path of his life. The book gives a good view of his journey and his faith in God which helps him overcome the problems he faces. The book is a useful guide that can be referred to by readers on their destined journey. The interesting concept that runs through the book is that if you turn, God turns to make your life more fulfilling and enriching. The book is an excellent read and I recommend it to readers because it gives a broader perspective on God and His supreme power.
Have you ever sat and had a conversation with a good friend on what things were like for them in the past? In that conversation you find out that when they found God or the faith that gives them a purpose is when everything changed? That is what reading Michael Vincent Robinson's story feels like. It is conversational and enjoyable and a book that tells a story. As a life story, you can tell the author has had some interesting times; there are parts that read like the best of Shakespeare's stage dramas to me and that kept me interested.
Michael Vincent Robinson often lost his way, and that impeded the goals he wanted to achieve while travelling on this route. He came from a loving Christian home, but was coerced by other boys into sexual acts his family would not approve of. A car accident that almost took his life made the author aware that God had not given up on him. Despite being unemployed and homeless, the author never lost faith. This book reads like the author is casually telling his story to someone in person. The story is thought provoking, motivational, and inspiring.
Michael Vincent Robinson takes you down the path of his life, showing you the highways and the byways. He was born into a devoted Christian home, however, he got involved in the "boulevard" lifestyle at a very young age and continued his secret lifestyle into his adulthood. God continually shed His Light in the midst of Michael's darkest places. Recognizing he must cease his secret lifestyle, he begins to praise God in a deeper way. Michael receives deliverance where God takes him from bondage to a place of promise, purpose, and destiny.
