I've tried many different synthetic and traditional wax products on many vehicles over the years. With most of them, it's almost impossible to avoid getting a streak here and there along some panel seam, or a little spot where you can only see the haze when the sun is at just the right angle. Waxing along pinstripes and other features is very tricky, and please don't get any on your windshield. This product solves all of those problems, it beads well for a long time, and getting it on plastic trim makes the trim look shiny and new instead of hazy.
I bought a new red truck in 2013, and it has acres of textured black plastic. I've waxed everything on the truck with this stuff twice a year since the day it was new, and it still looks great. I wish I had thought to take before and after pictures of the latest waxing. The truck still looked good, but it didn't look new anymore. Those acres of textured black plastic were a little dull. The matte black metal panels on the doors were looking sort of faded and hazy, as were the windshield wipers. I gave the truck the once over with this stuff, and all those fading plastic areas are fully renewed and shiny black again. Of course it also works very well for bringing the shine out of the paint, just like every other wax in the world. What sets this product apart is the ease of application, the ease of removal, and the fact that it works just as well on pretty much any automotive surface. I don't like to get it on the glass if I can help it, because it does leave a sort of oily looking haze, but it's no big deal to buff off when I do.
I used to buy this stuff off the shelf, and my local retailer stopped carrying it. I hope that isn't a sign that it's about to be discontinued. I'm going to be a sad panda if so.
