I love this product. It takes up little space in my cupboard. The most important thing is the rich tomato taste and it's consistently the same every time. I don't buy any other tomato paste anymore. The only complaint I have, if it can be called a complaint, is I believe it needs a key so it can be rolled. I have RA and the squeezing is sometimes extremely difficult for me. I recommend that all cooks try this product be it's just plain great.

Most recipes calling for tomato paste only need a couple of tablespoons. Opening a can sets you up for waste. A resealable tube solves this problem. I keep a tub in the refrigerator and backup in the pantry. This is a good product.

This is a decent product for the price. It has no preservatives other than natural sea SALT. That's the issue. It is an EXTREME amount of salt. I like to use high quality tomato paste as a base for soups and sauces. My mistake was not figuring just how salty this product really was. For people looking to avoid citric acid and other additives, this may be a good choice as long as they factor in the added salt. It's very easy to use and can be stored indefinitely. I like the tube form of tomato paste because the other choice in the USA is getting a canned type that usually comes in a can that has been lined with BPA - Bisphenol A, a known endocrine disruptor. So if you are trying to avoid that kind of thing, this might be right for you as long as you account for the added salt! You get three tubes for your money, and you can use it in place of ketchup if you wish. There is no sugar or vinegar in it, but again, the added salt is a detriment. The next time I buy tubed tomato paste, I will look for one with no added salt.

I love this product. It is easy too use and store in the fridge. I always found the cans of tomato paste so wasteful as many recipes only call for a tablespoon or two. These tubes keep the product fresh after opening much better than other methods. This tomato paste is delicious and perfect consistency.
