As each Twilight film has been released I have collected both the soundtrack and the score. Just like the other 4 scores, this one did not disappoint. Carter Burwell has been my favorite when it comes to the music for these movies, and he has delivered a final collection of songs that are well done and very fitting for the movie. I can just picture each scene as I listen to the different tracks. The music ranges from soft and sweet on tracks such as "Meet Renesmee" to action packed on "A Kick In The Head". My favorite track of all would be the first, "Twilight Overture", which combines music from the other films into one beautiful song. Overall I am very pleased with this final addition to my favorite film series.

I have loved the musical score to these movies-especially New Moon and now this one. I love that he weaved the soaring haunting melody of New Moon(which remains one of my all time favorite musical melodies) in "Twilight Overture".

Love it!! I always go to the movie and then buy the soundtracks and scores for the twilight movies, however this time I bought the soundtrack and score before I saw the movie. As soon as they were available to pre order, I ordered!! Now I have all the music from the twilight saga.

Carter Burwell did a wonderful job tying the music from the first 4 movies together in the opening number and in listening to the score, you can follow along in your head what's going on in the movie. Awesome!

Once again, this score shows why Carter is the stellar choice for writing the score to this wildly successful franchise of films. This edition has the grittiness and urgency needed to accompany the plot and when the mood is sweeter, the music isn't just sweet too, it's ethereal.

I would love this music even if I was not a Twilight fan. Carter Burwell has again created an evocative piece of wonderful music. I was well pleased that he worked in the music from the previous movies, yet made it seem new. Beautiful...

I have the score for all of the movies in the Twilight Saga and find Carter Burwell's work to be perhaps the best of all. I have the songs from this particular score peppered throughout the majority of my playlists and was pleased to find the digital quality of the files were all wonderful. As a music lover, nothing bothers me more than a track being marred by digital glitches, so I was a happy camper.

Another worthwhile effort by Carter Burwell, this second "Breaking Dawn" score also has a number of short selections and a certain amount of repetition of elements maybe 1/6, if not more of them have familiar bits, at least they sound good. I don't know about Amazon but the last time I checked iTunes offered this soundtrack as "album only", I might eventually choose some selections for my iPad- but not all of them.
I noticed in reading the liner credits that Alexandre Desplat who wrote the "New Moon" score, co wrote # 1 "Twilight Overture" with Burwell, Howard Shore (score writer for "Eclipse") and Christopher Willis- it's too "orchestral" for my tastes. Christopher Willis and Adam Smalley, with Burwell, co wrote #'s 33 & 34 "A crack in the Earth" & "Aro's end".- not favorites of mine either.
I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm just guessing, but judging by listing the selections aren't all in their order of appearance in the movie or the book. A few like "Chasing Renesmee" and "Aro's end'' come to mind on that- I'm sure they look good but they tamper with the storyline of the book.
