If you have any reservations about whether this B-12 vitamin tablet will be adsorb into your blood system I am here to tell you it does.

My recent blood test confirmed it. Just make sure to put and dissolve the tablet under your tongue and don't eat or drink anything until the tablet is fully dissolved. Putting and dissolving the tablet under your tongue will get the B-12 right into your blood system bypassing the gastrointestinal system as any well versed Human Biology student can tell you.

So don't swallow the tablet. Just dissolve it under your tongue for great results.

I bought this stupidly assuming it was methylcobalamin.

I don't know why, I guess the methyl-b12 tag threw me. (We should be able to protest tags, or give them a down rating, don't you think?)

But it arrived and it is the more generic cyanocobalamin.

I will try to return it.

Supposedly the most absorbable way to take vitamin B-12. I've used it for years and I think it helps feed your brain. You slip one under your tongue while doing your makeup in the morning and voila, you've contributed to your mental clarity.

This product by Twinlab is and dose exactly what it claims to be as an adequate source of supplemental B12, even if it is not viewed as the better of the 2 types of B12. Also the reviews inferring that the description on Amazon is not clear about which form of B12 this product is is not correct. If you expand the package photos provided and read the labeling, it very clearly states what B12 this is as cyanocobalamin. Even at that if you prefer the other or methyl type, I have used this product as noted in it's subliminal form with lab proven success in the treatment of pernicious anemia, (the bodies inability to take B12 from food in the normal manor.) I must mention at the time I started using this very Twinlab product I was not an Amazon customer, but was working in a health food store and I researched this out extensively. I offer this review in hopes of clarifying some confusion and otherwise erroneous statements in some reviews shown.

Who doesn't need a reliable energy boost? I discovered these a while back and like others have stated, they really work! If you also rely on energy drinks, let me just say that 1 of these pills is a better alternative -- in my opinion.

Top quality B-12, Twin Labs is a great producer of vitamin products. I trust them with my health and this item is great for getting your dose of Vitamin B-12. Just put the tablets under your tongue and within seconds they dissolve into your system to give your body all the energy you need for the day. I give some to my other family members and they notice a difference in their energy level throughout the day. I highly recommend this product.

My physician told me to take methylcobalamin and unfortunately, this product popped up in the Amazon search, so I purchased it. This product contains cyanocobalamin. Currently, the Amazon listing does not specify that this is cyanocobalamin in the product description. I should have investigated further.

Is your B12 too low? Don't like shots? These are sublingual meaning that they dissolve under your tongue. The B12 is absorbed directly into your bloodstream. I use one a day and my B12 is just where it needs to be. These are a vegetarian formula, so anyone can use them. Do not know if these will work with pernicious anemia, although you would want to check with your doctor first. (Pernicious anemia is missing the "instrinsic factor" in the stomach that is necessary for the absorption of vitamin B12 (cobalamin) later on in the small intestine. Since these are absorbed directly, it may work, but ask first.) You can get these in many different dosages, from 100 mcg to 5000 mcg. Vitamin B12 is believed to be safe when used orally in amounts that do not exceed the recommended dietary allowance (RDA). There have been studies that showed no adverse consequences of doses above the RDA, but testing is the only way to check B12 levels.
