About the Author
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Rebecca Zanetti has worked as an art curator, Senate aide, lawyer, college professor, and a hearing examiner - only to culminate it all in stories about Alpha males and the women who claim them. She writes dark paranormals, romantic suspense, and sexy contemporary romances.
Growing up amid the glorious backdrops and winter wonderlands of the Pacific Northwest has given Rebecca fantastic scenery and adventures to weave into her stories. She resides in the wild north with her husband, children, and extended family who inspire her every day--or at the very least give her plenty of characters to write about.

Terrent kind of scared me in the previous books. He’s a huge wolf shifter and he hunts werewolves for the council. Believe me, it’s a big deal not only in the shifter world but to the Realm. Maggie lost her memory ten years ago and feels lost in this new world of wolf shifters since she’s been living with the vampires after they rescued her from the demons. Yeah, you read that right. Don’t ask questions, just go with it...okay?
This is the story of how a huge bulky wolf claims his little wolf, again. I smiled so hard my cheeks hurt as I fell in love with this couple. It’s a pretty short book but it’s got a strong backbone and full of heat and heart. If I was one of those people that do all that highlighting in their Kindle, I’d have highlighted just about every other line.
Although this is part of a series I believe you could safely read this without feeling lost.
No reason not to buy it NOW!
I liked this one. It was a quick and easy read. Maggie has been a fascinating side character because of the mystery of who she is and what was done to her. I am glad her and Terrent finally got together. Maggie helps Terrent heal from his past and gives him a new life.
I can't wait to see him and Maggie in future books.
Dage Kayrs King of the Realm is on top of everything and makes it a point to know everything. So when he sent Maggie on a so called mission to investigate Terrent Vilks and the Raze Pack to see who was sabotaging the inoculations he also had an ulterior motive. See he knew Terrent had known Maggie before she was kidnapped and he knew she was his mate (but the deal never got sealed).
Terrent Vilks (super sexy, ubber Alpha) is one of three shifter's that make up the Bane's Council and was trained to be a deadly soldier, hunter, and lived to kill. They hunted and took down crazy werewolves or whatever needed to be hunted. So he did his job while he patiently waited for Maggie to recover her memory.
In the opening chapter Maggie is escorted by Jase Kayrs to Terrent Vilks home. After an attack occurred at his home by three wolves Jase confronts Terrent and wants to know what is going on. It is here Terrent tells Jase Maggie is his mate. You got the impression Terrent was trying to give her time to recovery her memory, to see if she remembered the history they had, and that she was his mate and that she loved.
I don't want to give away anymore of the story, but this was a perfect length novella. Rebecca covered everything important that needed to be known and you didn't feel like you were missing something. There was plenty of action, and you'll absolutely love Shannon and Andrea the bad-ass Assassin Cheerleaders, (Maggie's description when they came to her aid) I actually laughed at Maggie's thought, and there was plenty of loving. This was a sweet love story with a dynamite ending. Rebecca Twisted gets 5* in my book.

Terrent is a strong alpha wolf who has definitely met his match in the form of Maggie, she may not know who she was but she has spent the last decade living and training with vampires. She is no pushover and Terrent isn't one to give up until he gets what he wants - an explosive combination perhaps?
I loved these two together, there was a lot going on outwith their relationship with the investigation into the saboteur of the inoculations, dominance fights amongst the pack, teenage werewolf cheerleaders and Maggie being hunted by demons and her past!
Rebecca threw in a few surprises into this novella and I loved how the whole story played out. I finished this one with a huge smile on my face, and I really can't wait to read Jace's story.
After losing her memory due to being experimented on when she was kidnapped, she has been living and training with Vampires, who have sheltered her from any dangers. Her reaction to Terrent is deep and scares her. But she is drawn to him on a base level and soon finds that it looks like he was to have been her mate before she was taken.
Altogether a great companion novella to the Protector series.
it was a good read with plenty of romance although not as much action but im not complaining, the characters were good and fully formed and the story was great.
