Elle is an artist in Seattle. Having separated from her mother since she was 16 she made a life for herself. She didn't want to get caught up in her mothers choices yet it seems fate has other ideas. She meets Cole on a flight to Chicago and things get pretty steamy from there.
Cole has done bad bad things. He wretches at the idea of the wickedness and pain he's caused. He's now trying to do right and has a thriving business. On a flight back from Seattle he meets Elle and is instantly intrigued. He tries to do right by her but life happens.
Let me start off by saying the chemistry between Elle and Cole was phenomenal and mind blowing and dirty. I was intrigued from the get go and couldn't put it down. Can we talk about Horse for a minute? When he came on the scene I was blown away and I loved him and I wanted more. So much more. This book has an interesting array of characters. From quirky best friends to nasty vile villains who made you want to take a hazmat shower. I can't wait for book two which I hope isn't too far away if you catch my drift. I would be Coles Ladyface any day of the week!!
It's like she went into my mind and found my favorite things 1) men with tattoos 2) classic cars 3) a strong woman that has the will to fight for what she wants 4) friends that are open minded ;)
Cole! This alpha stepped into my heart and wrapped his fist around it and I don't want him to let go. *wink wink*
Elle.... wanted it to be a casual thing with Cole but when she truly saw him, she knew that was no longer an option.
I have so many quotes I will be adding to this in a little but I'll start with - "All good pussies have a name"....
There are so many feels in this book but I wouldn't trade them for anything- it's a naughty, oh this is happening with my best friend situation but it's so sweet, and dirty. I can't wait for more.
"Everything, just everything"
Using sex to dominate is nothing new, but what this author does so well is blur the lines between good and evil. The main female in the story thinks she chooses her path, but was the thirst for dominance in Any form what really drew Elle to Cole? Sexual depravity is strong in this story and not for the weak of heart. But I found the references to Roman, Egyptian and Greek mythology fascinating. You want to root for someone in this story, but the author doesn't make it easy. I wish I knew truly how to describe the story except that its a fitting romp down the rabbit hole, into the mouth of Olympus itself.
I'm not going to lie.. #Spoileralert Instalove drives me insane, but I wont say anything more about it because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. This book was truly sick and twisted.. and not for the lighthearted. At 37%, I didn't know what to do- I wanted to quit, I kinda hated, it but I wasn't ready to put it down.
AND THEN IT TOOK A TURN.. and holy hottness, the story did a 180 for me. Ace Gray, damn girl did you make it hot. I was hooked on these characters! I wanted it all and it was all consuming. I couldn't put it down. The story was so dark and twisted that I was worried about what the makes me.. but I LOVED IT.
And then the end... thank the lord, baby Jesus, that I had read the books when I did because I don't know if I could have gone months and months without book 2. I cannot wait to jump into it and see what kind of roller coaster Ace Gray takes us on in this one.
All I can say about book one... KEEP GOING.
I didn't go into this book completely blind, I knew there was M/M, F/F and M/M/F (one of the reasons I bought this book) but I decided not to read any reviews. So glad I went into this book that way. I was drawn in from the beginning until the bitter end. Yes Ace Gray, I'm a bit bitter with you about the ending and now I'm on pins and needles wanting, no needing to know what happened.
If you don't like a cliff hanger then this is not the book for you cause it ends I one hell of a cliff hanger. This is one hella read!
Ace Gray, when is the next book coming?????
