"A little tension, a dash of action, and lots of attention to details make this a really smooth read. Sex scenes and flirting are nicely played, and there's no denying the well paced narrative. Great for folks looking for a nice romance with a bit of an edge!" ~ Max
"Simpson has a light, breezy, entertaining style of writing that is easy to read. She skillfully weaves intervals of sassy, carefree banter between the characters, with periods of high emotional drama and sexual tension." ~ Author Alex Jones

"High drama from start to finish. I can't wait to start seeing where the story goes from here."
"Edwin is hot. He is my kind of man, sarcastic, playful and furthermore, loyal to the girl he loves. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a steamy, playful love story. ~ Author Sara V. Zook

From the Author
If you can handle a REAL, smart-mouthed alpha male, and a sassy leading lady, then I'm sure you'll get along with this cast brilliantly.
This story is for you if you enjoy friends-to-lovers romances, new adult sass and/or romances with a paranormal twist. There will be second chances, moments of sweetness and times when Edwin will light your sheets on fire.
Readers are calling this story sexy, entertaining and easy to read. The characters are a little crazy, but who isn't? There's never a dull moment in the Twisted Trilogy.
This trilogy is a romance, and know that there is an amazing happy ever after to come, but also know that you will be slammed with a cliffy by the end of this book. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! I get the love-hate relationship with cliffies and I'm not asking you to love it, but when you do, the rest of the books in the series will be waiting for you.

Abigail was so immature. She flirted with another guy knowing it would make Edwin jealous. When she gave him the ultimatum it was ridiculous. She is 24 and ends it with Edwin the man she loves because she wants a baby right now. He just finished school he should have a chance with her alone before they had kids. He didn't say no just not right now. He was so charming and sweet I hated Abigail even more. She even stayed friends with the woman who had sex with her best friends boyfriend. Aliah was selfcentered she always wanted to be the center of attention and was nasty if not. She was so dumb for staying with Hunter when he cheated on her and is having a baby with another woman. Edwin was the only good one in the book. Don't waste your time on this
I was given an ARC from the author with the understanding I would leave an honest and unbiased review.

Edwin and Abby have dated before, been lovers, bought a house together, but the timing was never right and they were just roommates. After university graduation, Edwin knows what he wants. He wants Abby. She has never left his heart, and he wants her to return to his bed. Edwin has never left her heart either, but she is afraid to be hurt again. When Edwin proposes a no-strings-attached relationship, Abby gives in to her dreams, but she isn't ready to give up on her life-plan. When she gives Eddy an ultimatum, will he follow his heart or allow rebelliousness dictate the course of their relationship?
This is Ms. Simpson's debut novel and it is self-published, so the writing is unpolished, but don't let that stop you from reading. I loved this story and I'm looking forward to seeing where it leads. The full trilogy is now available, so there will be no waiting to read Abby and Edwin's story from beginning to end. There is also the question of the red glowing eyes that Abby sees when she's stressed. Is she being stalked? Perhaps from the grave?
