I am not sure that I am going to read the last book even though I thought the first two books were good. I will have to read spoilers to find out certain things. For one, I want more information about Cole. Specifically if Cole was celibate during their 4 year separation as he claims. It is one of main reasons that I wanted him to be with Danni as opposed to Trace because he was willing to forgo pleasure for that long because if Cole could not have Danni then he did not want anyone. However at the every end of the story evidence is presented that Cole lied, that he may have had smex with OW during the separation and not been celibate. If that is the case then I am not reading the story. Also assuming that Cole was faithful if Danni does not end up Cole or they don't all end up together then I will not read the last book. Usually I only want one hero and one heroine because I don't like my heroes sharing but this story will be the exception if the only other choice is her ending up with Trace.
I love to read a book that has a great love triangle in it. The first book in this series (One is a Promise) had me hooked on the whole Cole-Danni-Trace triangle.
This book had me wanting to slap Danni throughout the entire book. I found her to be annoying, weak, and she couldn't make a decision to save her life. I understand that she was in a place that any decision would have been hard to make, but just "women up" and make one all ready. While Trace and Cole both should've dropped her like a hot potato.
For me, the last few chapters really grabbed my interest the most. Loving the new twist and turns and I now need to purchase book 3 to see what happens to these characters and which guy Danni picks - if she even does that!
The books in the TANGLED LIES series are not stand-alones. They should be read in order. One is a Promise, Two is a Lie and Three is War.
