- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2022I got this puzzle because I love the concept: put a puzzle together and win anything from $1 to $1,000,000! I really liked the idea of not only having something to do, but also having the chance to actually win something.
When you first open the box, you’ll see a slip of paper with a code that you’ll need to use to claim your prize once the puzzle is finished. Definitely take a photo of it, otherwise you won’t be able to claim your money! There are a couple of different strategies you can use to put the puzzle together, but I’d recommend taking the time to sort all of the pieces by color first and grouping them that way. Then put the border together.
Keep in mind – this puzzle is definitely hard, even if you’re the kind of person who’s really into puzzles and has done a lot of them. There’s no reference photo, and a lot of the pieces look like they could fit together, so you really have to pay close attention. It’s easy to think you’re on a roll and then you’ll have to take apart the section you’ve been putting together because you realize the pieces don’t actually go where you think they did!
That being said, I really liked the extra challenge, because it was fun to have the puzzle out on my kitchen table for over a week (I’d even work on it during my zoom meetings LMAOOOOO). But, it was also a great excuse to invite friends over! We made whiskey sours and spent the evening laughing and putting it together. It definitely adds and extra edge to any social gathering, especially since your typical puzzle doesn’t come with a cash prize! I had a lot of friends who just wanted to come hang out and put it together once I told them about the concept. It was definitely the best part of my week, and I couldn’t recommend it enough as a fun, new activity to do with your friends or family.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2022The idea behind this puzzle is great, build it, scan it, see what you win. Most likely, you'll win $1, but you could win a lot more.
I'll save you a ton of trouble if you buy this - go to the website and there is an image of a finished puzzle that kind of flashes on and off, zoom in on this and use the shape of the pieces to guide you. The image will not match up as each is unique, but the same cutting die is used for each puzzle. The best way to put this puzzle together is to sort all pieces by shape, then use this as a guide. Puzzle is doable in about 3-5 hours using this method.
Now for the bad......
The quality of the puzzle is very poor - you can fit so many pieces together that you'll swear go together, but they don't. You don't know what the puzzle actually look, but that isn't what makes it hard, it's just very poor quality. There are several pieces that look exactly alike and the shape of the pieces are exact, it really lacks a good solid foundation for the pieces to interlock cleanly and be obvious if things fit or don't. Once I realized I could use the image from the website to know what shape goes where, I quickly realized how many pieces can go together that shouldn't go together.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2022Another reviewer summed up this puzzle exactly. If it weren't for the possible reward of a million dollars, we may have given up. If you are up for a challenge, go for it. As stated by others, pieces fit in several locations making it somewhat infuriating. The pattern is overwhelming to start. Couldn't even get the border correct to start with so just move on and it will be apparent later. Definitely the hardest puzzle all four of us have done for only 500 pieces. Challenge accepted! After several hours we hadn't made much progress. Definitely relate to the "Does it fit or doesn't it?" Be prepared to swap a few down the road as we had a whole section wrong for a bit. Best advice we have is to take breaks.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2024Fun puzzle with a prize! Difficult to work since there is no photo to go on and pieces often seem to "fit" in places they don't belong to complete puzzle. Just use caution when completing edge pieces, had to rework a time or two. Inner puzzle much simpler to complete. Once it's finished scan the QR code and fingers crossed you win big!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2022I liked the idea of essentially having a lotto ticket with assembly required. This would make a great gift so I bought one to try out first. It says it is a 5 on a scale of 1 - 10 for difficulty but that is garbage as this is one of the hardest puzzles out there. Part of the issue is that many pieces fit together, even if they are the wrong pieces and there is no picture of the puzzle included as all the QR codes are different. Thankfully, I figured out that while all the QR codes are different, the manufacturer cuts each puzzle to the same pattern and has a high res image on their website so we downloaded the picture and blew it up so we could see what shape each piece is and where it goes, then look at all the pieces in that exact shape to find the color that fits best. This thing took hours. We did win $100.00 so that was cool, but what a pain to build.
I also know someone who only won $1.00 but when they claimed it, they had the option to buy another puzzle and get $5.00 off instead which was also cool and they did so for a gift.
